An interesting article in the paper today stated Google will fund solar installations on about 3,000 residential homes. They will, as I understand the article, lease the equipment to the owners of the property.

This will also allow Goggle to recover the subsidies offered on these solar installations which makes this scheme financially viable from their standpoint.
Of course the question came to my mind what happens when the owner of the property sells? Does the solar installation (lease) run with the land (deed)?
Does the new owners have an opt out option?
Is this a "forever" ownership of the solar panels or is their a termination date?
Repair costs? Does this really add value to the property?
Your comments are solicited.
What is up with the agents today who want to show your home and then do not provide feedback? This is another frustration driving me mad when trying to answer my seller's questions.

In my humble opinion, feedback is more than a professional courtesy. It is a requirement. We all agree to cooperate with one another to help move properties. Why not follow through and be of assistance when you show another's listing?
The old saying two heads are better than one really is appropriate for real estate. Sometimes we miss the obvious. Having a fellow professional give you a hint is always appreciated.
What do my fellow professionals think?
