I'm not sure how to post this story I just ran accross but wanted to share this news story with you all....

JEFFERSON, Wis. (AP) - A 71-year-old real estate agent was found dead inside a home she had been showing, and authorities said Thursday that the man she had met there was arrested.

Ann B. Nelson, of Cambridge, was found dead Tuesday night next to a smoldering mattress at the smoke-filled rural home in the town of Oakland, authorities said.

The man she had seen there was arrested after he was brought in for questioning Wednesday night, said Jefferson County Sheriff's Detective Sgt. Lawrence Lee.

The man, James Hole of Brookfield, Ill., was being held on a tentative charge of first-degree intentional homicide, Sheriff Paul Milbrath said in a news release.

Investigators say an autopsy concluded Nelson died of smoke inhalation, but she also had head injuries. A weapon was recovered, Lee said, but he declined to be more specific.

Nelson's family contacted authorities after she didn't return home Tuesday evening. Deputies tracked her down to the vacant home in Jefferson County and noticed smoke coming from it when they arrived about 9:20 p.m.

Nelson had three sons, three daughters and 16 grandchildren and was active at church and in the community, said a son, Doug Nelson. "She was always willing to help. No task was ever too difficult," he said.

News of the incident prompted the Wisconsin Realtors Association to send a note to its members informing them that one of their fellow members was found dead at a vacant listing.

It urged them: "Please do not let your guard down - your safety is primary!"

Oakland is about 25 miles east of Madison.

Each spring the excitement of Easter fills the air....

Many churches prepare special Easter programs about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

At home mothers color Easter eggs, and parents hide the brightly colored holiday symbols around the house and lawn so that, come Easter morning, their children can excitedly hunt for them.

In Spokane, Washington, Donna Henry is getting excited for the Real Estate market to be picking up! While so many markets are plummeting in value, Spokane is still rising. The experts are projecting this area to still go up 4% this year (which in my opinion is a bit on the low side).

With nature starting to come to life, the seeds starting to stir, the trees opening up their buds, the buyers are following their lead and awakening also. I'm starting to see such a flurry of activity with buyers excited to move here or sell their home and upgrade to take advantage of the great mortgage rates these days. It's a great time to buy, especially here in Spokane.

My daughter who is 3 years old this year holds the Easter bunny right up there with Santa. Her excitement is infectious and this Easter will be so much fun for our family.

What an incredible time of year for so many reasons....Whatever parts of his Easter season that you are celebrating, enjoy it for what it means to you! Happy Easter to all of my active rain buddies!!

The Spokane River cascading through the heart of downtown Spokane is the city's most unique asset. Riverfront Park, a lush 100 acres, provides an urban greenscape that gives credence to defining our city as " Spokane, Near Nature, Near Perfect." Well used and tremendously loved, the park is where Spokane strolls, listens to concerts, enjoys picnics, gathers for events and watches the city light up at dusk.

Fortunately, much of the media about a failing housing market hasn't affected the Spokane market in the same way as larger cities have felt the impact. We don't have builders like D.R. Horton, Centex, KB Homes, etc. building hundreds of homes at a time. Therefore, we don't have a huge glut of inventory (some cities in Florida have thousands of new homes sitting vacant). While the market certainly slowed, we currently only have a 4-6 month inventory of new homes available.
