If you have Grand kids you know what I am talking about,

Thanks to a past client who has a very good sense of humor and is Answering Machinealways ready to share a good laugh. After reading this email I have chosen to share it with the AR community. It may not have anything to do with real estate; well, wait a minute it may.

Monday Motivation………..I have a RIGHT!

Monday Motivation………..I have a RIGHT!

"The right to do something does not mean that doing it is right."

~ William Safire ~

I have often wondered where the saying, “Just do it and then ask for forgiveness later”, came from. I always try doing the right thing and more often I do the right thing.

Then there are times that I let me get the best of me and because I can do something I will lower my head like a bull and plow right through something because I have a right to.

It is during those times of doing something just because I have a right to that the worst things happen. If I had been just a bit more cautious maybe a little bit more caring or concerned things may have gone a lot differently.

Maybe next time I won’t hang up on that agent because I had a right to.

National Eggs Benedict Day

National Eggs Benedict Day..........

….......This holiday is always celebrated on April 16th, gee and I am just finding this out????? What’s up with that?

National Eggs Benedict Day is a day to enjoy eggs with hollandaise sauce, Bad Flip of the eggsCanadian bacon and English muffins. Make that a double portion for me please!

A lot of people have never had Eggs Benedict. Don’t worry, I have eaten enough for both of us. If you're upper crust, you most likely have enjoyed Eggs Benedict a number of times, and perhaps, on a regular basis.
However, many people (regular folk) have never tried Eggs Benedict. Go ahead and do a survey. See how many of your friends can even tell you how it’s made, or what's in it. Or, ask them what hollandaise sauce is. It really isn’t hard to make just be very, very careful or you could have scrambled eggs.

Celebrate today by eating Eggs Benedict. If it's your first time, I highly suggest you go to a restaurant where they know from experience how to properly make it.

Well, I could have written about this also being National Stress Awareness Day but I would have stressed out because my stomach was empty!!

Rubber Eraser Day

Rubber Eraser Day

EraserFor all those prone to making a mistake Rubber Eraser Day will always fall on April 15th……………….

Make no mistake about it; Rubber Eraser Day celebrates the invention of erasers. We all make mistakes. I thought I did once and then found out I didn’t. This day is designated to recognize and appreciate the value of that little rubber thingy that sits atop our pencils. When one makes a mistake, they are the big "cover-up", oops, make that eraser, of our faux pax (I prefer to call them a booboo). Just imagine how messy our documents would be without it!

Why not just call it "Eraser Day"? Well, there are two reasons. The first is erasers were made of rubber. Today, they are made of rubber, or vinyl. Secondly, in Great Britain, they are formally called "rubbers". I am thinking they should be called eradicators, what do you think???

In the world of erasers, two men are prominent. Joseph PriestleyPencil discovered the eraser in 1770, using pieces of rubber imported from Brazil. Then in 1858, Hyman Lipman of Philadelphia, Pa., patented the pencil with an eraser at the end. Oh thank you Hyman the schools are a better place since this invention.
Today's Quote: To err is human, an eraser is divine!

Something to Ponder: When will they put one on the pencil used to keep score in golf????

Stopping by to say Thank You……..

Stopping by to say Thank You……..

Yesterday I happened to have a couple of hours that I wasn’t doing anything while waiting for the little lady to finish up with a doctor visit.

St Peters MO City Hall

So I thought that I would take a trip over to the St. Peters MO City Hall and pay a visit to some old friends.

I fail all too often to stop by and say hello and Thank You to them and yesterday was a perfect time to do just that. The sun was shining and not a cloud was to be found in the sky.

St Peters Veteran Memorial Cannon

Is this the kind of day that I need to cause me to pay a visit to my friends?

Male Serviceman

Is this the kind of day that I need to stop by and say Thank You to those that have served our country and to those that are still serving?

Woman Serviceman

I would hope that I would be more considerate in the future and when driving by I would stop by for a visit and take the time to say Thank You.
