Stop and think about it for a second. We have a brain in our head, so how are we going to use it this week?
We have feet in our shoes. So we can walk without hurting our feet as we go through this life.
On top of that we have a steering wheel in our hand so we can steer ourselves in any direction we care to go. We are that person!

Hoodie Hoo Day A Really Bizarre Holiday……..
This is a young and bizarre holiday always celebrated on February 20th in the northern hemisphere. In the southern hemisphere it will be celebrated on Aug. 20th.
If you didn’t get enough hoopla on Groundhog Day then on this winter day, you can go out at noon, wave your hands over your heads and chant "Hoodie-Hoo". There is nothing saying that you need to be in a top hat or even fully clothed. Simply go outside at high noon, sounds like an old western, wave your hands over your head and shout “Hoodie-Hoo” to chase winter away and bring back spring.
After all, everyone in the northern hemisphere, except
William Feela, is sick and tired of winter at this point and a little crazy being cooped up inside all winter and not seeing the sun.
National Chocolate Mint Day!!!
Every February 19th is National Chocolate Mint Day. A
day to celebrate everything and anything that is chocolate mint flavored. Anything with chocolate in it can’t be all bad can it?
Ice Cream, candies and all kind of desserts are the most favored of the chocolate mint flavor. Just think about the good job chocolate mint candy does after a fine Italian dinner and all that garlic. Chocolate mint will cover that garlic breath just fine.
For those of you that don’t like Chocolate Mint, I’m sorry. I can’t imagine who that would be! But there is always a really nice piece of Dark Chocolate that can be enjoyed! I hear that chocolate is a food group unto itself, is that true?
For those Chocolate Mint lovers out there, this is truly a great day. Make sure to get your fill of Chocolate Mint today whether its candy, ice cream or a big dessert.
Another wonderfully Weird Holiday……Today February 18th is National Battery Day
When you look at it there are very few things that don’t either depend on a battery or it has a battery back-up. Will the list ever stop? My guess is probably not. Batteries are used everywhere, from the battlefield to smoke alarms to headsets. They come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and power capacity, to fit a wide array of needs.
We are all energized by the many uses and applications and today is an opportunity to celebrate this vital invention. Just imagine where the world would be without batteries. We'd still be using a crank to start our automobiles. We'd have to cart around long extension cords to bring the boombox, is there such a thing anymore, to the beach. And, forget about hand-held games. They'd never be popular tied to an electrical outlet.
Yup, batteries are electrifying!
Today is a good time to appreciate the power of batteries in our everyday life.
