Rehoboth Beach Real Estate Market is on FIRE. Few know how on fire the Rehoboth Beach area is on fire! I have been touring new buyers everyday for about 2 months, not getting any rest and most of them are buying homes. Double settlements are common right now. I have been showing the whole area which includes other towns as well like: Lewes, Millsboro, Milton, Ocean View, Bethany Beach, Millville and Dagsboro. These areas are hot for retirement age people and second homes. Delaware may not have all the buyers, but we are getting our fair share.
Delaware is the tax friendly state, unlike our nieghboring states like PA, NJ, NY, MD and VA. Our real estate taxes are some of the lowest in the country. And you can get anywhere in a car with in a tank full of gas. So Visiting friends and family, not to mention going to the big cities like New York City and Washington DC in a matter of hours is easy.
Rehoboth Beach Real Estate market is blessed. There are a ton of things to do here all year round, unlike most beach towns in the north east. Fairs, Events, Festivals, Parades and clubs come here all year around.
Come make the Rehoboth Beach Area your home, and see what the others are seeing. Pricing has never been better when it comes to this area, add that to the historic low interest rates and you have a winner! Come today, and I will tour you around the area to get you familar with it, so you can decide on Single Family, Townhomes or Condos, no strings, no pressure, just relaxing fun!
2011, The Year to make it your Best in Real Estate Ever! I started Dec 31, 2010 on 2011. I continued to show properties on Jan 1, 2011 and Jan. 2, 2011. I should have been home like everyone else relaxing, recharging, but I wasn't! Instead I was touring a couple from NY, who had never been to the beach area of Delaware before. They were told by friends who had vacationed here in the past that it was a great place to retire. So being off, they took the long weekend to come see our great state, The First State, the state that started a nation, Small Wonder as it is known.
I toured them for 3 days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday about 6-7 hours a day. Showing them homes for sale in Rehoboth Beach, homes for sale in Lewes, DE, homes for sale in Millsboro, homes for sale in Milton DE, and homes for sale in Selbyville and Ocean View. At some point we even crossed into Maryland.
The long days didn't bother me, as I knew I was getting a jump on what I consider to be my best year ever in Real Estate. You see, in 2010 I double my business from 2009, and in 2011 I plan on doubling my business over what I did in 2010.
You see, I have a goal, a direction, a plan. I constantly think about all 3 of these things and more to plant that seed in my mind that I will reach my goal and I will succeed, even in this down market. I have a prosperity mentallitiy and nothing will ever change that. Not slow sales, not client credit issues, not rejection. Nothing will avert me from my plan.
I beleive if you have a plan, and you work towards it, and I mean really work towards it, you will not fail. But you have to get rid of the excuses, the reasons why you can't do something and instead plant the sead in your head you can succeed, you can reach your goal. If I ever get a negitive thought in my head, with in seconds it is replaced with a positive thought.
You all should try what I do, it works, it really does! It doesn't matter if you are selling real estate or teaching the handicapped. With a goal and a plan you will not fail. You may not always reach your goal, but you will get further than you even had before, and that is a fact!
In closing, I wish you all the best of times, get a plan and a goal and work towards it. You will feel better about yourself, and the results will follow! And remember one last thing. and that is too enrich the lives of others on your way, and you will also be rewarded in ways you never imagined.
Well, it is Christmas Eve, no one to call, no one to tour, everyone is out finding last minute presents, and I am here on the computer. What am I doing. Did I not work hard enough during the 358 days of the year? I would tell you I didn't, but my wife would tell you I did.
I am not happy resting or relaxing, I get a guilty feeling that I should be doing something to be better at my job. The morning was spent listeing to Tony Robbins, which always motivates me. But all the web sites related to real estate business are closed for the holidays, and I have plenty of unaswered questions still.
So I turned to AR to write about it, since I will never know all there is to know, but that won't stop me from trying to know it!
On a day like today, when everyone is shopping, I am still learing, trying to become the area expert! And although I know I should be relaxing, I just can't because I am thinking of ways to improve in 2011!! So do as I say, and not as I do, Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
How much Time do We Have? Do we have enough time in the day to do our job? Do we have enough time in the day for our families? Tough questions that need an answer!
I am from the old school. I didn't write this next line, but I do live by it. "I am willing to work harder than most people won't, So that I can enjoy the life most people can't!"
I have been putting a team together for the last 9 months, so I have to provide enough leads for everyone, listings to get leads, systems in place and SEO my web site. That leaves little time in the day left for what should be more important to me and that is the family.
I do this for two reasons. I am not sure which one comes first in my mind, but I do know which one should come first. The reasons are that I am a driven person with a prosperity mentality and I am doing it so that my family can enjoy all the finer things in life.
I admit that it is taking a toll on me, but I can see the finish line. You see, nature is funny, if you do not take time off to recharge, nature will do it for you. And if nature does it for you, you may not like the result. So during this time of the year, and since for a lot of us, we will be celebrating Christmas, turn your phones off, turn off your computer, forget real estate for a while and enjoy this time with your family! It will mean a lot to them, and even more to you!!
