NO Service - No Problem!

no service

Don't you hate it when you are needing to use your cell phone and then you get the dreaded "No Service"

Well I did find out some great news - at least for blackberry users that I had no idea we could use and might save you a call to the "Customer Service"

We recently moved to an area where we have ZERO cell phone coverage and that is just not acceptable when our phones are our #1 resource besides our computer for our jobs. I think on average my husband alone can talk about 4000 minutes a month.

This is what I found out and it works! If you are in an area where there is no cell phone coverage and you are in an area where at least you have wifi. (For example : our home) You can use the wifi to connect your phone to and then still be able to use your phone. And it is FREE! It would only cost your normal minute usage and luckily we have unlimited minutes.

So...here is how you do it!

1. Click on your "Set Up Wi-Fi" Icon. It looks like a little router

2. It will then bring you to the prompt where you can "Scan For Networks"

3. And then you just decide which network to connect to.

So now we can make and receive our phone calls from home or anywhere else we happen to not have any coverage. It makes doing business a whole lot easier!

**We use T-Mobile and not sure if all service providers offer this so you might want to check to make sure.**

A Snowy Day In Virginia Beach!

I can't believe that when we woke up this morning there was ACTUALLY snow covering the rooftops and cars. It wasn't alot to most people but I can't remember the last time we saw snow here. Luckily, the schools and most businesses were closed today due to the Presidents Day Holiday. Otherwise, I am sure they would have shut down the city.

This is practically a one time event here in Virginia Beach. I come from the Midwest and my husband comes from upstate New York so it was kind of refreshing to see the snow on the ground every once in awhile. I am grateful though that this is probably the worst of it for this year.

All in all I do hate the cold and snow but it is beautiful to see every once in awhile.

Don't laugh but this is ALOT of snow for this area!

It's So Hard To Say Goodbye.....

Tomorrow is the big day. We listed our house here in Virginia Beach in August 2007 and are now scheduled to close tomorrow afternoon. 1 1/2 years to the closing table, I didn't think it was actually going to happen.

2365 Litchfield Way

I know it was only a house but it had alot of memories for me there as we literallly started our little family there. We did a final walk through in our now empty home and it did cause me to be a bit emotional walking through all of the rooms with my boys.

I know alot of other people are going through alot of housing changes as well but it can be a sad thing or it can be a great moving on to a fresh new beginning.

It was a bit sad and hard to say goodbye to the house we called home for 4 1/2 years but so happy where we are at now. With 2 little boys now and the careers we have chosen in real estate it just got too hard to maintain and keep up.

I wish the new homeowners the best of luck in their new home now and hope they get the chance to enjoy it as much as we did.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY AND ANNIVERSARY

Today is a special day for me. Not only is it Valentines but I made it really easy for my husband Charlie because we got married on Valentines Day 4 years ago.

Valentines Day

I feel so lucky to have found someone that I can share my life with and makes me so happy! We just recently started working together and although it has been an adjustment for us I think it is also taking our relationship to another level.

The 4 years we have been married ( and 9 years total together) has been great! And most of all I am thankful to have 2 of the most beautiful boys I could have ever asked for. Hunter and Ethan Doriguzzi have really made our lives together complete.

I wish everyone a great day today! I hope everyone can have that special someone to share their love with. I know that I have!
