We had a Memorial Day Celebration that lasted until 9:00 p.m. Besides all of the pool activities at The Governors Club, there were giant inflatable slides and trampolines, as well as cotton candy and popcorn stands. We also had face painting and caricature drawings. Families had such a good time and stayed throughout the day and evening.
We also had two bands who entertained with island style music. At 8:45 p.m., we polished off the evening with fireworks that were as spectacular as any seen on the Fourth of July. One of my clients asked me to help them throughout the building process. When we went to sign off on the foundation approval, I explained to them that the foundation was incorrect. I pointed out the discrepancies and we called the builder, who is a very reputable builder. He came right over and realized that since he was building three homes in the same neighborhood, he had picked up the wrong foundation plan. We were very glad we caught this at this stage. The wrong floor plan had 300 sq. feet less than the client's floor plan. Details are important, and I am a detail person who loves to build.
