The quaint subdivision of Windsor Park will never be the same. ABC Extreme Makeover team came to Charlotte on July 28th to visit the King family. While the family was on vacation the ranch home was demolished and a new 2 story 5100 square foot home was built. For 1 week the East side of Charlotte was the center of attention. The home is located on Sudbury Rd in the Windsor Park Subdivision. Shuttle busses ran from Eastland Mall to take on people out to see the construction site. Of course the main road was blocked off. We all just wanted a chance to see the cast of Extreme Makeover. WSOC our local new station kept us updated daily of the progress. The famous "Move That Bus" was Monday 8/4 at 2:00pm.
The episode will air sometime in October. During the process the Charlotte Realtors Association had a special day for Realtors to come out to see the construction.

Just another seminar to go to, but what the heck I'll go and listen for a few hours and see what happens. The guest speaker was Stedman Graham - yes Oprah's man. His time was short, but the powerful words that he used inspired me to get my train back on track and keep rolling. As times has gotten harder with the mortgage industry,high gas, groceries etc it's easy to get caught up in the state of the economy.
The inspiration that Mr. Graham spoke with the power of his words and the message of hope that he delivered has started to get my train back on track. So look out Charlotte Metro area here I come aimed and ready to tackle the real estate world.
It is all about Love, Vision and Passion and don't forget who you are. The most important thing is to know who you are. In his speech is said that 99% of Americans don't know who they are.

I did 12 years ago from Charlotte. I was born in Charlotte and lived there until 12 years ago when we decided to move to Monroe NC in Union County. It was the best move we made. We are minutes to Charlotte, but enjoy less traffic, lower taxes and the fact that you can be anywhere uptown Monroe within minutes.
