Just a little reminder that this weekend, Armada will be host to an official AKC Sanctioned Dog Show hosted by the Macomb kennel Club and Roger Doyle. At this point 1,400 dogs have been entered and according to Roger, the tickets are $5.00 a piece. Show starts at 10:00 am

I just wanted to take a few moments to congratulations the Alarro 4-H Club on their very successful Project Clover 5K Run/Walk held this morning June 5, 2010 at the Armada Fairgrounds. The club had over 200 participants. I also wanted to congratulate all the winners of the run/walk and the raffle winners.

Project Clover's mission is to provide quality meat products to local food pantries and soup kitchens while supporting 4-H youths involved in livestock projects. With the money collected from various organizations/individuals/businesses, Project Clover Committee Members will bid on livestock projects at the fair market price durng the 4-H Livestock Sale held at the Armada Fairgrounds on Friday of fair week. The goal is to purchase at least one or more of each species to provide as much variety to the local food pantries as possible such as St. Mary's of Armada or Richmond Community Food Pantry.

I am honored to be part of this project as a donor and also as a volunteer for the event and hope to also be able to help out in the future. During these touch economic times, many families can not afford to buy food to feed their families and I am honored to lend a hand in any way that I can. I also wanted to compliment Jennifer Miller for doing such a wonderful job setting up the event and thank all the participants who ran/walked and helped out with a very good cause.

Congratulations Alarro 4-H Club for a job well done and for your kind and caring help to the local communities.

Hi Everyone, Another bit of good news. With the upcoming trend of sellers needing to sell their homes for less than what they owe on them, I have recently taken the necessary classes to receive my designation as a SFR which stands for Short Sale/Foreclosure Resource.

As of April 12, there were two new rules set in place to give incentive to the banks to work with homeowners to try and prevent foreclosures -- one is for loan modifications and the other for short sales with hopefully, across the board guidelines to have them move smoother and quicker.

I saw the writing on the wall and wanted to be educated and prepared so I took the necessary steps. Another nice fit for my new office with what they have in place to assist with the negotiating in short sales.

PLEASE....one thing I would like to stress....please do not wait until you are in are in a foreclosure or so late in your redemption period after a sheriff's sale to seek my help. When you feel or start to see a sign of trouble with paying your mortgage, please contact me and let us get you started. There are many new rules that assist you and will surprise you.
