Duanes View, we lost 2 Grandmothers this week, so here is a thought.

How do you think of life? As a growing kid and playing on the school ground with all the other kids, you don't think of how long you it would be until your time comes to leave this life, you figure, I have at least 50 years. What a long time, you don't have to worry at all for now… <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

High school life goes on, all the fun you have in school, at all the high school sports games, the parties after the games, the drive in movies, and your relationships through those years. You are still young and still don't have a worry in the world of how long you have left in your life...

You get to the age of 30, still with a raising a family, work, your relationship with your wife, you start to think a little of what is maybe around the next corner for you, but then you put it out of your mind and carry on. You figure your life is not even half over and it is not time to worry about it now..

Coming up on the age of 50, Grandparents are starting to pass, your parents are getting older, if not passed on yet, you start to wonder again, how much longer do I have to enjoy my life on earth??

With my life, I have married a second time now and have a beautiful wife and at the age of 47, I have an eight year old and a four year old at home still. I have 3 daughters from my first marriage and they have blessed me with 4 grandchildren, A father and a grandfather at the same time, life doesn’t get any better than that.

Still, the thought comes up more and more now about how much longer do you have to live on this earth? I am always trying to stay in good shape, try to eat good, drink plenty of water for the system, but, I always wonder, is it good enough? Is it to much??

I will never sit around and count the hours of when I think my time will come and leave this life. life is still too short, I will run, jump, and play just like in grade school and hopefully live my next 50 years, the same way I have lived the first 47 years of my life. I will enjoy everything that’s going on around me, my work, my friends, my relatives, my play time, my children, and most of all my wife.

We all have different scenarios on life, think about them, but not for too long. Enjoy every moment.

There is still a lot of years left in life, always stop and smell the roses, look at the world around you, quit dwelling on the past and enjoy the future to come.

Duane.

Showing home on a wonderful sunny holiday, it makes it tough to stay on the job.

Holidays like today, with the family over, holiday weekend, lots to do, and just the idea of resting, makes it very hard to get in the car and show homes. Do you ever tell a client that the house is not available to see and put them off until tomorrow?? It has crossed my mind to let a client sit until the next day, but my gut feeling and my dedication to the cleint comes first, I will do my job and show the home. You just don't know or want the home to go under contract without even looking at it, it might of been the home for your clients.

I want to always represent my clients 100%, I am here to offer the best customer service I can, I need to get the deal done for my client.

What is your opinion??

Enjoy, Duane Brown

Sharing a warm Sunny Sunday with my sister, Enjoy and love your Family.

Yesterday I went to visit my sister, it was a beautiful sunny afternoon and I wanted to share it with her for a while. Death is an amazing thing, it has been almost 40 years since she died, I am a very strong person, but even walking to visit where she is laid to rest, starts the tears automatically and sometime uncontrolably. Even ...writing this post, the tears are starting to well up just thinking about her. She was 12 at the time of the accident, she was walking home from school.

My sister Doris Ann, was hit by a drunk driver on 6th avenue near I-225 in 1972, there is a big green bridge that covers 6th avenue now, to protect from any other accidents. I guess in a way, she gave her life to protect all the other children from this busy road on their way home from school. If you pass under her bridge, say a quick prayer for her and the others it now protects.

I didn't realize that she is buried among World War 1 and World War 2 Soldiers, may she and all of them, Rest in Wonderful Peace.

God Bless you all, live everyday to the fullest and always hug and kiss your loved ones.
