Well, I must admit it has been a long day and I am trying to close it down, but just a couple more things to get done.

Is this you too?? Just a couple more things to get done and it will be 3 more hours passed, I do you do it, it just happens.

Isn't it funny how you listen to your spouses day, but when it comes to your day and Real Estate, they just leave??

This is just for fun, but when my wife gets home and tells me about her 28 second graders and how they did this and that and didn't settle down etc. Then its how they didn't know this math question or that spelling at their age, and I listen to it for 2 hours, then I finally get to talk.

But when I start to talk about Real Estate and my day, boom! She is gone, Is Real Estate that boring or does she just need to unload to feel better at home??

It is funny to me. What do you think??

A couple of weeks ago I was driving around some clients showing them some wonderful homes, there was one home that tickled their fancy the best so we called one it.

I had a conversation with the other agent about her listing and always about the price of the home to see how far her sellers will come down. We discussed other imperfections throughout the house making a laundry list of things that needed to be done, you know, making a statement of why our offer would be lower than asking price. We had a real good conversation about all the things my buyers were concerned about and back to the price of the house again and if my buyers offer would be considered. I gave her my buyers verbal offer and she told me she would let me know what the sellers decision would be.

After I said goodbye, I put my phone down and sat with my buyers for a little chat, but I heard sounds from my phone still..? I picked up my phone and heard the other agent with her sellers dicussing the offer and how far they were willing to lower their price to make the deal happen. I was not sure what to do at that point, I had heard their bottom line for selling their home and it was around the price my buyers were willing to pay, but they would of paid more to get the home too.

It ended up that my buyers actually like a different house better that had came available, so there was no harm done, but what a learning lesson for me to make sure my phone is always off after each conversation with every client. wheewwwww!!

Oh and by the way, I never told the other agent of the incident. Would you have told her??
