I wanted to send out a congratulatory blog regarding one of my best agents named Allyson Ricci. She worked extremely hard a a very convoluted deal that caused her tremendous heart ache. Today she was able to bring the commission check to the office and we celebrated her success. I just want to remind everyone that this is a very tough business where nothing is handed to you on a silver platter. Allyson had to deal with a number of difficult personalities and though at times was very discouraged with certain aspects of what she was faced with she was able to power through the process and reach the finish line. Always remember professionalism helps!

Osterville Real Estate Cape Cod Top Ten

This weeks Top Ten......

1. What a devastating loss for all Pats and Football fans having Tom Brady go down for the season with a knee injury. I'm not a referee, but I think it was a clean hit. I looked like he was blocked to the ground and was just trying to make a play not intentionally injure.

2. I really wish we could talk about the issues in this Presidential campaign. I seems like candidates are just trying to capture blocks of the voting public by who they chose for running mates instead of running mates who understand the issues and can help the country.

3. Though I feel the take over of Freddie Mac and Fannie May is a form of Socialism, I think the government had to do it or the global shock waves of both mortgage giants failing would have thrown us and the rest of the world significantly deeper in recession. I understand how we got here but I am very nervous as to where we are going....

4. Roger Federer is certainly back! 13 majors wow!

5. Ike is apparently the real deal. If you don't believe that just ask Cuba. Ike has taken a full day to clear Cuba and still hasn't. Not much will be left and when Ike enters the warm waters of the gulf its going to build quickly back up to a categorie 3 and smash into Texas. Batten down the hatches!

6. I am yet to see a good economic plan from either candidate. By the way are these tickets the best we could do????

7. It was nice to see the Tide roll over the Green Wave. Aren't school nicknames fun!!!

8. I bet Sarah Palin's daughter must have been thrilled to have her personal life splashed on every news paper in the English speaking world. Talk about bad timing for her that her mother became the GOP VP candidate.

9. The Red Sox are just a half game out of first in the AL East. Even if the Sox take the division Tampa will still be in the playoffs and are still the feel good story of the baseball year....

10. Do you find it coincidental that Bush is calling for an eight thousand troop withdrawal from Iraq just 56 days before the next election. Trying to show that the Republicans plan is working....HHHHHMMMMMMM!!!!!!

I hope you enjoyed and welcome your comments

Osterville Real Estate Cape Cod New England Sadness

Well the news was made official at 3pm on Monday, Tom Brady is out for the season! This is a tough pill to swallow for anyone who is a fan of the Pats or football in general. I know that many out there have had a bitter taste in their mouths regarding the Pats after spygate last year, but I know no one roots for injuries especially one as distructive as Brady's. The reports are very few and far between, consistent with the Patriots level of knowledge that they give the press, but most are speculating that the injury is a torn MCL and torn ACL. Wow if that's the case! Of course the Pats will go on, but instead of Super Bowl favorites they will be lucky to make the playoffs. I know they still have a lot of talent and have a great coach so we'll see. Remember Belichicks record for New England without Brady is 5 wins 13 loses! It doesn't look good!

Osterville Real Estate Cape Cod Luxury Real Estate Agent Red Sox Update

I couldn't help feeling last night as I watched the second game in the three game series between the Red Sox and the Yankees that Joe Torre would have made a difference. I really felt that Giradi looked more interested in playing than coaching. There were moments that Girardi stayed with obviously struggling pitchers instead of making the quick move to someone else. I know this seems petty but Torre seemed to have a better manner with umpires and got more accomplished with his pitchers. Well either way as a Sox fan I'm happy to see Torre go and even happier with a big 11-3 Sox victory.

I hope all of the members of Red Sox Nation realize what an important win last night was for the Sox. Any time you face Andy Pettite and the New York Yankees in Yankee Stadium during a pennant race and win is special. Particularly when your starter has come off the disabled list earlier than he wanted to and his recent record against the Yankees is 0-5 with an over 8 ERA. That's exactly what Tim Wakefield and the Red Sox were able to pull off last night. By no means am I saying that the Yankees now 6 games out are done because frankly I've seen them come back too many times. The Yankees aren't ever out of it but now they have a lot serious problems. The best they can do now is be 4 games back in the wild card hunt after this series is over and if they lose another to the Sox, the bombers will be in big big trouble. Well I can only dream!
