Foundation Certifications

Manufactured Home Foundation Certifications

Manufactured Home Foundation CertificationsIf you are selling or buying a manufactured home, then most likely a foundation certification will be required. For all FHA and VA loans, an engineer's foundation certification is required that states that the home is placed on a permanent foundation that complies with the "HUD Permanent Foundation Guide for Manufactured Homes", dated 1996 by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

We have partnered with the engineers at Foundation Certifications to provide a turn-key foundation certification service to you. You may place your order online by going to http://www.FoundationCerts.com/order.

Small Town Inspections

Inspecting in Eastern Washington means commuting to the small towns that dot the areas map. EWAHI has a territory that encompasses Adams, Grant, Lincoln, and Spokane counties. That is a large territory, and we have even inspected farther than that. Recently we had the privilege of inspecting in Wilson Creek, WA.

Wilson Creek, Washington north of Moses Lake The drive to Wilson Creek is typical for this area, wheat farms and sage brush scattered with rocky outcroppings; Rolling hills covered with wheat fields, and in the Columbia Basin irrigation brings in green fields for miles. I love the desert and this landscape reminds me of where I was raised in Eastern Oregon, next to the Idaho border.

Here in Eastern Washington wheat and potatoes are king, although many other crops are grown in the Columbia basin also. As an ex-farmer I still appreciate the views of the fields, but have a hard time farming from the drivers seat any more.

For variety Spokane has trees, lakes, rivers and a little more traffic. The drives in that part of our territory are filled with views that may only dream of. I will have to talk about Spokane county more soon.

Back to the towns, Eastern WA Home Inspections travels to these small towns as a normal part of our service. We charge the same for any inspection in our coverage territory, no extra mileage charges. We feel it is important to treat our small town customers the same as as ones in the more populated areas like Moses Lake and Spokane.

Driving is part of the job, and with the views we are served during these drives we will not complain. We just turn on the radio, sit back and enjoy. Have a great Day:)

Home Inspector, Web Page building Choices

Eastern WA Home Inspections, LLC has a new web site in development. As a business owner we have to make decisions daily and it can be hard to know if it is the correct one. I have a site with Pro-Sight Property Inspections that is probably good, but I wanted to be able to do more with my site than I could with it.

There are so many different ways to get a web site on the net, free web sites like the one I put together to "play" with, Eastern WA Home Inspections/Spokane to the option some of my friends have taken like Don Hester at North Central Washington Home Inspections, LLC . Don has a great site but I know he has spent a lot of time and effort getting his site to where it is, not to mention the constant additions made to it.

This would have been a good choice for me a few months ago but today the time spent at the computer to build my own is not an option I want. I have chosen to have a site built for me. It costs but so far it looks pretty good, although it is a little similar to my old sites. I guess that is understandable, it is from my old sites the gurus get the information that I have put out for the public. They are working with me as far as my input, but a very creative mind reader would be better!

I do not know if this is the "right" way to go, that only time will tell that. For some this may seem a waste of money, for others I am doing it on the cheap. What matters is that the site has the capabilities I want/need and that it is appealing to my Moses Lake and Spokane clientele. Again only time will tell, but I am anxiously awaiting:)
