I was born and raised in New England and worked for Metropolitan Insurance Company for many years, in the Rhode Island and Tampa head offices. I am a military veteran and served our country in the United States Marine Corps for over a decade. I have relocated several times while in the military, so I have a personal understanding of military relocation and the strain that it puts on families. My goal is to make your transition to our area run as smoothly as possible.

In today's market (2011 and 2012) it is essential to stay attuned to current market trends within my area. I employ old school principles along with new data every day. I consider my job to be that of serving you the customer. The only way to accomplish that is to analyse new listings and sales trends every day.

Over the recent past, although some of us have done short sales years ago, before most knew what they were or what they entailed, today most of us in the Real Estate field have at the very least, gotten a general working knowledge of the mortgage default industry. I personally have an electronic equivalent of an entire Rolodex for each mortgage company short sale dept on hand when needed.>There are also many helpful websites that can be utilized for updated information.

Consider that even on the very simplest transaction, on the surface has no obviously particular issues, however upon final close examination, many issues to overcome are the norm, rather than the exception. A successful Short sale just requires a few more steps in the process,and some additional patience, having some advantage actually at times. We as a profession are wise to adapt to the market now just as had been done in the past decades by our more senior agents, with every shift and turn in the economy comes knowledge and experience.

There are several things I can say about my wonderful colleagues: they are resilient, resourcefull, intelligent, and patient at times when needed. We are, for the most part, tireless and motivated to get the job done (and right the first time) and when we have been successful, the gratitude is in the accomplishment. Does this sound like a great way to earn a living, right? Actually only if you possess, cultivate, and nurture those and other qualities I previously mentioned.

We are constantly learning, and no transaction is the same. Why? As each home or property is unique, and people are different in style as well. Add to the mix, the constantly changing government and local regulations, and there you have it, no two days are ever the same.

I work for a great company which is very supportive and top notch. Anything I need to be successful is right there, and the training and updates are constant.

We are conveniently located near the Orange Park Mall and I 295, with Clay County/Duval County line nearby. We service the entire Jacksonville, Florida area including Duval County, Clay County, Saint John's County, Flagler County, Nassau County, Baker County, and Alachua County. And we can show any listing within the area of which listing brokerage coops.

We are active in the community and welcome new projects to benefit this community, where we work and live. We often have fundraisers and especially during the holiday season, collecting food items, participating in Toys For Tots, and other needed items.
