Ringling Bros Barnum Bailey Circus Train

As I was driving through Delray Beach the other day, I got stuck at the train. Unlike being Stuck at the Bridge, I was watching a freight train go by. which tend to be rather long. I was patiently watching it go by when I realized this was no ordinary freight train. There was no gravel this time. Why? Because I was watching the train for Ringling Bros Barnum Bailey Circus! How cool was that? How often do you see the circus whiz by?

I was very excited. I grabbed my camera and attempted to take some photos. The train was traveling at a pretty good clip and it was hard to catch. I managed to get a few photos so I hope you enjoy.

Mizner's Preserve is perfectly situated along Jog Road in Delray Beach along the Boca/Delray border. It is nestled in amongst other gated communities and lots of lush tropical landscaping. It is one of our finest luxury gated communities. Children who live here attend Boca Raton schools. Mizner's Preserve has a clubhouse with pool, tennis, tot lot and fitness center. Mizner's Preserve is pet -friendly.

Mizner's Preserve is made up of three sections - Le Chalet, Cristal and Parc Chandon. Le Chalet and Parc Chandon are zero lot homes while Cristal offers estate-sized lots. Currently there are 14 homes for sale in Mizner's Preserve. They range in size from 3 to 6 bedrooms with approximate square footage of 2800 to over 4000. Prices start at $ 575,000 and go up to $ 949,000.

SEARCH HOMES FOR SALE IN MIZNERS PRESERVE

There have been 10 homes that sold in Mizner's Preserve in Delray Beach in the past year 2011. Selling prices ranged from $ 540,000 to $ 900,000.


The home that sold for $ 900,000 was a Capistrano model on a lake. It is one of the largest homes in Cristal with 6 bedrooms and 6.1 baths. It has a master downstairs and an open floor plan.

The home that sold for $ 683,900 was an Emilia with a pool and partial lake view in Le Chalet. This house has over 3700 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. It was corporate owned.

The home that sold for $ 667,500 was an Emilia with a pool and spa on a lake. This is one of the largest homes in Le Chalet with over 3700 square feet. This home had many beautiful upgrades. Another good deal!

The house that closed for $ 660,000 in Parc Chandon was a real steal! It was a bank-owned property with 5 bedrooms 4 baths and over 4700 square feet. Someone did very well here!

The home that sold for $ 605,000 was a Verona model in Cristal with 3 bedrooms 3 baths and a pool. There were very few of this model built. This is also a lovely one-story home.

The home that sold for $ 600,000 was a Siena model in Cristal with 4 bedrooms 3.1 baths and a pool. This is a beautiful one-story home.

The home that sold for $ 568,000 was a Cordoba, 2/3 bedrooms with a pool.

The home that sold for $ 550,000 was a Siena model in Cristal on a lake. It has 4 bedrooms 3.1 baths. It did not have a pool.

The home that sold for $ 540,000 was an Isabella model, 3/4 bedrooms with a pool. It was a short sale and someone got a good deal!

The home that sold for $ 520,000 was an Isabella with pool. It was a regular sale. Someone got a good deal!

Prices in Mizner's Preserve are back to 2002 pricing, in my opinion. There are good deals on beautiful homes to be had in this community. The Valencias Real Estate Market Report for December 2011 includes the Active Adult 55+ Communities of Valencia Falls, Valencia Lakes, Valencia Pointe, Valencia Palms,Valencia Reserve, Valencia Shores and Valencia Isles. These senior housing, active adult 55+ or baby boomer communities are located in Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Lake Worth, FL.

In December there were 18 homes sold in the Valencias, 4 more than last month. There was a mix this month of an increase as well as decrease in the average closed sales in each of the communities.

In my opinion, the sales vary by community as well as the particular model home. For example, they may have sold a 1500 square foot home one month and a 2700 square foot home the following month, thereby accounting for the price differential. The Valencias remain one of our top luxury active adult communities. It is my opinion we are still in a price-driven market.

The Valencias are pet-friendly communities!

The Boynton Beach Real Estate Market continues to show that when homes are priced right, they sell. Overall, the total number of closed sales in Boynton Beach were more this month than last. In my opinion, closed sales in Boynton Beach were slightly lower this month than last month in attached housing (condos, townhomes and villas) while there was an increase in detached housing (single family homes.) There is a good supply of well-priced homes in the Boynton Beach area at this time.

There is a good supply of condos and homes available at this time with some at prices not seen in many years.
