The secluded island of Key Biscayne can be reached via the scenic Rickenbacker Causeway, which spans beautiful Biscayne Bay. Incorporated in 1913, Homestead is the second oldest city in Miami-Dade County, located south of Miami between Biscayne National Park and Everglades National Park. Incorporated in 1948, Hialeah Gardens was too small until 1970 to be listed in the U.S. Census Bureau records.
