Week in Review

Well I was a little wrapped up in Phelps mania (and the olympics in general) that I have hardly had time to do much with my blog. Not to mention that scrapping up positive and helpful information in a market like this, well, let's just say it isn't easy. It doesn't mean I haven't read some good blogs recently...

  • Brian Foxworth wrote a nice article about truly helping people as a mortgage professional. The goal shouldn't be about deals but about helping people financially through the mortgage process, or in this case, lack of mortgage. Thanks for making us sleep a bit better tonight.
  • Teri Ellis wrote a great tribute to people in general and more specifically her husband. Hope my wife says the same of me now and in the future. (P.S. - pretty sure I was sitting behind you at the D-Backs game last night...I hesitated to say anything because only God knows - fear of being completely wrong I guess. Though it would have been a great story to tell.)
  • Chuck Willman always delivers great information. Keep it coming.

Outside of that - Fannie and Freddie shares dropped, sales up in AZ mostly due to increased foreclosure and short sales (which is somewhat good news), D-Backs swept the Padres (up 2 on LA).

Lastly, my first official game as a head coach for the Arizona Hockey Union U16 '92 team will happen next Friday at 6:30 PM. Little nervous but when you love what you are doing it makes it all worth it.

OH and I met a few new people this week (mostly at the gym), but I never forget them and hope to see them all soon.

I guess good news and fun information is all around - you just have to know where to look.
