Townhomes or as some people refer to them as townhouses, offer a maintenance free lifestyle and allow you to build equity at the same time. Bucks County Real Estate - trading a house for a boat

I love real estate. I especially love searching the Internet for real estate. Since I’m a licensed real estate agent in Bucks County area, I always look for different ways to generate leads. My Bucks County Real Estate website, generates plenty of leads, but I always try to find the leads in the most unusual places on the Internet.

One of my most frequented sections on the Internet that I visit is craigslist.org, specifically the “Housing Wanted” section. Some people are transferring to our area and need to buy a house and they don’t know any real estate agents in Bucks County. Some people are just looking for a licensed agent to contact them and help them with a home search. Craigslist.org is a wonderful place for any type of business leads.

Anyway, today I did my usual search on Craislist.org for any ads in the “Housing Wanted” section and found this very interesting ad. This ad struck me as an incredibly interesting proposition. Some guy wants to trade his 44ft. boat in LBI for a house in either Bucks County or Montgomery County. The boat is valued at $250,000. If the house price is higher than that, he would reimburse the difference with cash.

Take a look at this ad.

What if you had this opportunity to trade your house for a life on the boat, would you do it? How would it change your life? You can’t park your car in the garage anymore. You can’t BBQ in your yard. You can’t grow plants in your garden. The lifestyle would be different, don’t you think? There will be no more grass to cut. There will be no more driveway resurfacings. There will be no more termite issues. The lifestyle would definitely be different.

Forget about the money, but if you had an opportunity to trade your house for a life on a 44ft. boat, would you take advantage of it. Whether it’s near the Jersey shore or anywhere in the world, it doesn’t matter.

I just thought it was a very interesting ad and wanted to share it with you and get your opinions and feedback.

Thanks for reading.
