Welcome to the "About Mortgage and Networking" Group!
I started this group because I feel there is a need for mortgage and real estate professionals to openly discuss their ideas, concerns, suggestions and the need for good unbiased advice from members within the Group. I take great pride in my business of loan originations and equity fundings. It has certainly changed dramatically just in the last couple of years. I wonder where everything is going and what the future will bring us in this business.
Nevertheless, we must adapt to the ever changing climate we live in and move forward with our ambitions. This is a dynamic industry we are in and I am sure for all of us professionals, we will change the way we do business and hopefully for the better. If we remain static, others will advance and leave us in the dust. That is business. He or she who remains on top of their game will be the ones to lead us the way.
There is a new breed of professionals entering this field of finance and real estate. They are "new school". Their thinking and behavior is nothing like we have known before. Tradition to them is non-existent. The old way of doing things has been replaced with the new way of doing things. It is where this market is going and us as professionals must change our "old school" way of thinking or we will eventually be eliminated by these "new schoolers".
