As Joseph and Jodi Hogin watch their children playing in the surf, they can't help but recall their own childhood on the island. The feeling of the sand crunching under their feet, as they would run along the shore. With the beaches and ocean as their playground there were truly infinite possibilities. For this married couple and respected business team, Maui holds so many wonderful memories of the past. With more than three generations living here, their roots run deep.

They say you don't know what you have until it's gone. For Joseph and Jodi,this couldn't be closer to the truth. With the curiosity of youth and a drive to assert their independence, they left Hawaii,the only home they'd ever known,to live in California. But, when it came to raise their own children, they felt passionate about continuing the family tradition and make the move back home.

Watching their own children grow up and play in the same safe neighborhoods among family and friends was of the utmost importance to Joseph and Jodi.

Seeing them attend the same great schools that their parents and grandparent did was a priority. Carrying on the tradition of life on the island is something Joseph and Jodi feel grateful for every single day
