Jennifer:
Why should a Realtor receive leads from you?
Mr. Alexander: The Relocation Professionals have a unique position in the Real Estate Lead Generation service. We employee some of the best and brightest IT and Marketing/Advertising personal in the business. This allows us to always be a head of the curve, and become bleeding edge. Over the last few years now we have implemented some of the most beneficial services for our Realtors. Several systemic changes have included:
Reverse 411 Lookups, Lead Exclusivity, Human Eye & Server Scrubbed Implementation, plus knowing that
each lead is Fresh. There are many lead generation companies on the internet that are stuck in 2001. They have not progressed and utilized the services and tools that allow our company to thrive into 2009 and beyond. In a simple term: We are always finding ways to improve our lead quality, so that our Realtors are successful. We know that if the Realtors with our company are not successful, we as a company will not be successful. And in this we are very confident that our company will continue to lead the industry.
Jennifer:
How are your leads different?
Mr. Alexander: Our main mantra as a company is very simple:
EXCLUSIVE, FRESH, SCRUBBED, and MATCHED. We believe that a lead is only a valid lead if you are the only agent whom is receiving them. If a lead is more than 48 hours old, this is definitely not fresh (i.e bad lead). If the lead isn’t scrubbed, meaning all bad information isn’t kicked out, it’s not a good lead. And finally we match up every single lead we receive to a Reverse 411 Lookup system. This allows us, at times, to find secondary phones numbers and at times fix typo mistakes where people input their phone numbers.
Jennifer:
The internet is changing, what have you changed over the last few years?
Mr. Alexander: From a Marketing/Advertising side we have changed dramatically. Since 2008 we finally entered the Web2.0 era. We have since developed blogs, created forums, implemented Twitter and Tumblr accounts, and heavily focusing on our ActiveRain.com Account. Plus over the last 6 months we have opened up a WannaNetwork Account, Zolve, Blogger, and various other types of websites.
We are also proud to have created numerous marketing websites over the last year. This has dramatically increased our organic positioning across our network as a whole. Thus allowing us to reach out to thousands of new Realtors whom we would not be able to contact before. With new ideas of Google Organic Positioning, and state of the art white-hat techniques, we are on pace to increase our organic positioning over 35% through out 2009.
Jennifer:
Have you seen an increase or decrease in the amount of people requesting relocation information?
Mr. Alexander: What I can tell you is there are at least 25 cities off the top of my head that I could name that we have seen an increase amount of leads since the beginning of 2009.
We have seen cities such as Houston, Tampa, Phoenix, Dallas, Raleigh, Austin, Charlotte all receive an increasing amount of home buyer information requests. The misconception in the real estate industry right now is that people are not relocating. That is entirely untrue, as we have seem a sharp increase since the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009. Although the trend has diminished a little bit since the highest mark of late 2005, relocation is still a fundamental part of the U.S ideologue.
Jennifer:
What do you feel are the top reasons for people to relocate?
Mr. Alexander: In late 2007 our company President Michael Lewis had our IT department setup a network wide poll with two simple questions: What is your main reason for relocating, and How soon will you be relocating? After the 5 month poll was concluded we had our answers, and we were not surprised at all. From our research of over 73,000 people polled the
number one reason for relocation was Jobs. The time frame that roughly 70% of people choose as a time frame for relocation was 3-6 months.
Jennifer:
Out of the top reasons for relocation, how do you use this information so people find your websites?
Mr. Alexander: The #1 reason why we choose to create our
www.National-Job-Search.com was directly influenced by our recently captured data. Since the #1 reason for relocating is jobs, we wanted to help the visitors of our network with an easy navigatinoal job website. Also in 2008 we created a partnership with The Employment Guide, as they are our affiliate for job searching visitors.
Jennifer:
How many websites do you own now, including Forums/Blogs etc…?
Mr. Alexander: As of January 2009 we host roughly
1,004 city based websites. We control over
25 blogs, 5 forums, and roughly 25 marketing websites. Across our network we now boast over 250,000 indexed webpage’s just on the Google network. When you add in Yahoo!, MSN, and other search engines and directories we are on pace to have over
700,000 indexed webpage's.
Jennifer:
Do you know how many people access your website network each day and/or month?
Mr. Alexander: Although this number is confidential company information, what I can tell you is that we receive quite a lot of people visiting our websites each day. But a simple equation is if you take roughly 1,100 of our city websites and know that we can receive hundreds of visitors per day to each website, this can equal to a lot of people. Just imagine… these are only our city based websites. This does not include our 100,000+ main national website (
www.eRelocationProfessionals.com ) and/or any of our blogs/forums/marketing websites. Quick simple answer: We receive a lot of unique visitors per day.
Jennifer:
What is this 411 Lookup feature that you offer?
Mr. Alexander: We are very proud of our 411 Lookup feature that we implemented in the summer of 2008. The idea is simple: Each lead that comes in gets matched to the Free411.com database to try to verify the number is legit. This feature also attaches a secondary phone number to your lead, if one is found. It’s also a great feature if a person types in their wrong phone number.
The system will try to find the correct number and add it to the lead. We all know… typos happen.
Jennifer:
What is the future of lead generation for Realtors?
Mr. Alexander: Realtors as a whole are unfortunately a bit behind the curve in realizing that the internet is the #1 key to advertising their business. So this creates a unique avenue for our company to help them get in touch with relocating families. A professional Realtor with a good attitude, and excellent communication skills, can easily take one of our home buyer leads and turn this into a closing.
