Carnival Spirit -- Dining Photos -- November 2011 Cruise to Cabo San Lucas Mexico

This is a follow up to my previous blog post, regarding our recent cruise on the Carnival Spirit, to Cabo San Lucas Mexico.

In this post, I want to include some photos of the food we enjoyed in the dining room. Part of the fun of a cruise, is the abundant and varied amount of food that you can enjoy on board.

In addition to the Main Dining Room, the Carnival Spirit has a nice buffet, an outdoor grill, a free room service menu, and 24 hour pizza. We enjoyed it all!

Josie and I enjoy cruising together. We recently had the opportunity to cruise on the Carnival Spirit, to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

It was especially nice to have a balcony stateroom during the cruise, as the weather was picture perfect in November.

If you haven't had a chance to visit the Pacific Coast of Mexico, I would encourage you to plan a trip, especially during the Winter months. Places like Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta are very picturesque and have a range of activities that can appeal to any traveler.

In addition, the cruise fares to Mexico from Long Beach or San Pedro, California (both in the Los Angeles area), can be quite reasonable. Josie and I like to monitor cruise deals on www.vacationstogo.com. They have an easy way to find discounted rates for cruises that are departing in 90 days or less.

Following are some additional photos of the trip. I am going to have a second post with photos of some of the food we enjoyed in the dining room.

My Wife Josie Received the Atlas Achievement Award from the Boeing Company

My wife Josie recently received the Atlas Achievement Award -- one of the highest recognitions from the Boeing Company.

Approximately 140 employees (out of more than 17,000 employees in the Global Services and Support division) were honored with the Atlas Award, at a ceremony at the Marriott Camelback Inn Resort on November 18th, 2011.

Josie, on the evening of the Atlas Awards Ceremony, Camelback Inn Resort

Boeing employees from around the world were honored and treated to a weekend of activities at the world famous Camelback Inn. All of the events and ammenities were first class -- we truly enjoyed our stay at the Inn, the awards ceremony and meals. The weather was also just outstanding and typical of the Autumn in beautiful Arizona.
