STOCKS SLIP AS DOLLAR STRENGTHENS, AND DELL'S REPORTED POOR EARNINGS ... No other significant economic news or reports on tap for today, so markets will take their cues from stocks and geo-political headlines. Next week will be a short week, and we may see investors taking a "safe" route. It's been just about a year since the first major rate drop, which happened November 25, 2008. Will the holidays this year be volatile?

There is now a way to REMOVE PERMANENTLY any derogatory line items on the credit report, even if it is valid. UNEMPLOYMENT STILL RISING AND SO ARE MORTGAGE DELINQUENCIES ... Nearly ¼ of all FHA loans are at least 30days behind, and mortgage defaults hit a new high in 3rd quarter. Rising unemployment is starting to hurt those with good credit, as we're starting to see foreclosures of those with prime loans. Optimists say the housing market is improving, but the pessimists say there's still a ton of foreclosures to be dumped on the market and higher inventory could continue to hurt values. But, the silver lining for some is that this news will most likely help keep rates down a little longer.

CONSUMER PRICE INDEX RISES, BUT NEW HOUSING START/PERMITS FALL SHARPLY ... and Gold is up sharply as the Dollar continues to slip. Currently we are barely hanging on to the pricing I have posted and MBS/Bonds are heading down.

So, if you are current on pmts, and couldn't refi before due to lost value, this may work for you.

As of now, we just go off their original loan amount, with no appraisal and no income/asset documentation. They can also LEAVE an existing 2nd mortgage in place to unlimited loan-to-value. VERY easy to lower their rate. Starting November 17th, they will have to document their income, will have to own the home for a certain time, have cleaner credit, have a max limit on LTV, and more.

LOOK IN YOUR CLOSED DATABASE for anyone that bought using FHA and call/email them about refinancing. With these rates and loose guideline for the next two weeks only, it's the best chance they will every have to see a rate reduction, with minimal cost.
