Remember that candy bar commercial (I forgot which one candy bar it was) that said sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don't. DC Congress Heights Real Estate Market Report zip code 20032 is not great but it is not bad either compared to the numbers last year. While home sales are up in DC Congress Heights Real Estate Market i20032 zip code area,it is taking much longer to sell them compared to last year. Average days on the market in DC Congress Heights was 86 days compared to 21 days this same time last April. However home sales were up a whooping 250%-Yeah you are reading it right-250%. But then again that's because only 7 houses in DC Congress Heights last month compared to just 2 houses this same time last year.
Highest priced DC Congress Heights house that was sold was a 3 bedroom house in the $200,000-$249,999 price range. And one thing that I was shocked to find out that out of the seven houses that were sold in DC Congress Heights,4 of them were cash buyers-MONEY!MONEY!MONEY!MONEY! $$$MONEY$$! I could use some cash buyers right now.

Probably one of the most asked question in America is "When will the Real Estate Market fully recover?" I like to say that the only person who can answer that question is God. Because honestly speaking no one knows. What I definitely know is that once Financial Markets fully recovers,the economy stablizes and the trust of consumers/hard working citizens who lost their jobs and savings have been gained,then maybe the Real Estate Market will start to recover-That's just my .02 cent.

DC Deanwood is just like many real estate markets across the country-Many inventory are currently still on the market but most of them are not selling. So as a home buyer I am sure you want to know is this a great time to buy?
