3 Back up/In Escrow 2286 Navarro was on the market for 8 days, 443 Alameda 14days, and 522 W. Palm 17 days.

4 Closed Sale 1260 Midwick was on the market 21 days.

There are definitely homes selling quickly, and it only tells us that, if a home is PRICED RIGHT and the consumer SEE THE HOME VALUE, it is going to sell fast. It may even bring MULTIPLE OFFERS.

How long should a buyer wait? Do you consult a psychic? Do you trust the media? Do you trust your friends and families to help you out on your decision? If you see that a home has 75% of what you like/need, a good value, good price, chances are someone else is thinking the same too.

I recently wrote about the San Gabriel Mountains and Janes Village in Altadena, CA. Pictures obviously speaks more than thousands of words, so here are few pictures of my neighborhood, San Grabriel Mountain and the cottages located in Janes Village. Altadena is minutes from Old Town Pasadena, very fashionable area with new condo & shopping/retail stores. Being in Altadena, you can enjoy the quiet, nature, and a bit rusticness. And if you want the city life, it's 5 or so minutes away!

Now that spring is arriving, I see many homes being dressed up with colorful flowers. Did you know that there is a famous nursery of growers and hybridizers of azaleas and camellias in Altadena? Nuccio's Nurseries overlooks the San Gabriel Valley from Chaney Trail. The nursery has been around since 1935 in Altadena. WOW, who knew. This special location happens to be the only remaining commercial grower in Altadena.

Altadena is full of charater cottages - Janes Village

Charm and History - Janes Village in Altadena, California

Where is this Janes Village? What is it? Janes Village is located in NW Altadena and was designated as "Altadena Heritage Area" by the Altadena Heritage in 2002. These cottages were designed and built by Elisha (E.P.) Janes. It has it's uniqueness. Is your home a Janes Cottage? Check it out on the Janes Village site.

The period is between 1924 and 1926. There are more than 190 Janes "cottage" in the "Village." On Terrace Street, there a number of cottages with distinctive character of the Janes design. If one is interested, they should take a day and stroll the areas to appreciate this historic area.
