This house was originally listed at $374,900, last time it sold it transferred for $355,000. I had folks that would have done a full price contingent offer, but the relocation company would not do a deal contingent on the sale of the buyer's house. So, a ready willing and able buyer came along and pick it up for $311,000. It closed this morning. Why I like this comapred to a short sale or foreclosure, the house is in move in condition, you don't have to replace carpet, the furnace, update kitchen and baths. The seller's were not in a distressed situation, they were just transferred and the relocation company has deep enough pockets to get the house moved under market value. Longwood homes range in age from new construction to about 3 years old. Prices range from $600,000 up to $800,000. Along with the fine executive style homes in Longwood it also has many amenities to offer as well. Longwood has a community pool, clubhouse, tennis courts and an active community.

Hillcrest homes range in age from new construction to about 10 years old. Prices range from $450,000 up to $900,000. Hillcrest has a community pool, clubhouse, tennis courts and an active community. Also, there is an elementary school in the neighborhood.

Paramont Estates is a beautiful neighborhood with much to offer its residents. Paramont has a 15 acre lake that offers fishing and recreational boating. Some of the homes back up to the lake and offer dramatic views. It also has a clubhouse with a a large great room with an open fireplace and private bar area. There is also an indoor junior olympic sized pool, saunas, whirlpool and sundeck overlooking the lake. Paramont Estates also has tennis courts, 2 raquetball courts, a fitness center and snack bar. The annual assessment for the home owner's association is around $1500 per year.

Take Hwy 22 from the Gene Snyder to left on Hwy 1694 and then Right in to Glen Oaks.
Homes in Glenoaks range from the $320,000's up to $800,000. Glen Oaks has a country club that offers an 18 hole championship golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts and restaurant and grill. Part of Glenoaks is in Jefferson County and part in Oldham County. You will want to make sure which section you want.
Also, if a neighborhood does not have a community pool, check out the Oldham County Country Club (Video Link). They have memberships available and includes golf, tennis and the pool. It is a great facility.

Even though Goshens newer construction is on the higher end of the pricing scale, there are still some affordable housing options in Goshen. To get in a house in Oldham County for under $200,000 is becoming harder and harder each year. There are still a few neighborhoods in Goshen that will accomplish that goal. The City of Goshen, Harmony Lake and Lakeview Estates typically have homes available for under $200,000. Homes usually range from 18-30 plus years old. Homes are around 1500 sqf to 2500 sqf including finished basements. Though you will find several stlyes of homes, it seems you find ranches on basements more often than any other style home. These neighborhoods are an attractive option for people looking to be in Goshen, Ky Schools without paying new construction prices.
Goshen Homes under $200,000
Bumping up the price a bit to between $200,000 to $500,000 will probably put you in Barbizon Place, Goshen Woods, Old Taylor Place, Harmony Landing and Ridgeview Place. In these neighborhoods, the styles will be more varied with traditional 2 stories to some contemporary options. You will also find newer construction and also homes that are over 30 years old. Harmony Landing also has a Country Club you may also join. There are some great houses with views toward the Ohio River Valley.
Goshen Homes $200,000 to $500,000
If you are looking in Goshen and price is not an issue and you are looking for a new subdivision with a pool, tennis courts and clubhouse, then Longwood will be your stop. It consists of homes that are new construction starting in the mid $600,000's and go up to $800,000. These homes are anywhere from 5000 total finished square footage up to 6500 square foot. Top quality homes and across the street from the North Oldham Campus that houses Harmony Elementary, North Oldham Middle School and North Oldham High School.
Goshen Homes $500,000 to $1,000,000 Plus
Now if you need room for your horses, Goshen has you covered as well. Most of the farms or land flirts immediately with $1 million dollars up to $4 million.
