Moving to a New City can be an exciting time, especially if you are looking to head to Louisville, KY.
I have lived in the Louisville area for close to 13 years and I have grown to appreciate all Louisville has to offer and the life that can be enjoyed in and around Louisville. Louisville Metro claims to be the 16th largest city in the United States. I know if you are coming from one of the largest cities, Louisville might seem quite small, but whatever Louisville lacks in size it makes up for in quality of life. You can live downtown, the Highlands or Frankfort Ave areas and enjoy city life with numerous parks, The Waterfront, Shops, Nightlife and Dining. There seems to be festivals and events happening every weekend that keep downtown a destination even after the work day is complete. Not only is Louisville Home to the Kentucky Derby, Louisville has recently hit the World Wide stage by hosting the 2008 Ryder Cup at Valhalla.
At the same time, there are several areas in Louisville's East End that offer suburban neighborhood settings that will compete with any where in the country. East Louisville has all the shopping and dining amenities you could want and growing every day. Take a minute to look at some of East Jefferson County's premier subdivisions, Lake Forset, Beech Spring Farm, Locust Creek, Woodmont and Forest Springs.
For those looking to be close enough to the city or suburbs and still want a little slower pace, Oldham County is a short commute back to Louisville and is home to one of the Top Ranked School Systems in Kentucky. Crestwood, Prospect, Goshen, Buckner and LaGrange are destinations for many looking to move to the Louisville, KY area and are great small towns.
Louisville Ky is a great place and if you have any questions, please email me and I will get you all the answers you need.
