I spent most of the week without power, so I did not get a great feel for the Ryder Cup Experience and what the tv folks were saying. I had a chance, thanks to a good friend, to go out to Valhalla on Friday for the opening round of the 2008 Ryder Cup at Louisville's own Valhalla Golf Club.
The weather was perfect and it was a great event for Louisville to host. There was excitement in the air and you could really feel it. Chants of USA and Ole'. Ole, Ole' could be heard all day long. From what I could tell, I think Louisville pulled off a great week and the visitors enjoyed our wonderful city.
