Stonefield Trace is located in Buckner off of exit 17 on I-71. Stonefield homes are less than 8 years old and there are still some new construction going on. Stonefield has common greenspace for the homeowners and the residents are very active and have many community events throughout the year.

Stonefield Trace is behind the Oldham County YMCA and the Soccer Fields where the Oldham County Youth Soccer League have many of their games.

Homes are priced from $400,000-$600,000.

Ike Visits Lousiville

A bit of an unexpected visit. Actually we knew he was coming, just did not understand how powerful his passing through was going to be. I had an appointment on Shelbyville Road and left my office about a half an hour before I needed to be there thinking traffic may be bad with the weather. And it was. I left Crestwood and could not get through Pewee Valley. Every side street I turned on was worse than the last. Trees down, power lines across the roads and the huge poles that hold the utilities were snapped like toothpicks dangling in the air held up by the high voltage lines hovering over the cars. Cancelled the appointment and headed home. Same thing out in Buckner, trees down and no power. School is called off today and already for tomorrow. Rumor has it we will be without electricity for 10-14 days. What fun. So, we spent the day cleaning up the mess. Had to find a Starbucks in town to check my email and charge my phone. But everyone is safe. Hard to imagine what the folks in Texas and the other areas that took the brunt of the storm are going through. While I was waiting in line for gas (20 Minutes) at Costco, I heard on the radio thatGalveston has been declared uninhabitable. I can't imagine. We are grateful everone is safe and out prayers are with those who Ike hit much, much harder.

Locust Creek Homes for Sale Louisville KY

Locust Creek is out Shelbyville Road just before you cross in to Shelby County. It has been home to several Homearamas and is a popular destination.

Locust Creek also has a swim and tennis club and clubhouse.

Longwood Goshen Ky14 Houses in 2 hours

There was an agent open house out at Longwood in Goshen KY today and I took the tour. Well, they were giving away a 50" TV and free lunch so I went hope to win and at the very least get a good meal. I got the good meal, the tv however, it would not have fit in my car anyway.

But I did see some wonderfull homes. Longwood is in Goshen and it is a short trip back to the Gene Snyder, only about 5 miles or so. You go through Prospect, Turn left at the light on 1793 and Longwood has 2 entrances across from the North Oldham Campus and right before the firestation. A really convenient spot.

Beautiful homes, most, if not all with first floor masters. Many with finished basements that had great places for entertaining.

If you know of someone looking in the $600,000-$800,000 price range, Longwood would be worth considering. We finished up at the Clubhouse where the neighborhood pool and tennis courts are. Very Impressive.

Woodmont in Lousville KY, Community Pool and Tennis

Woodmont is one of the first stops for many looking for homes in East Louisville. Woodmont is tucked away, off Old Henry Rd near Lake Forest, Fox Run and the Eastpoint Business Center.

Woodmont homes range in age from 2 years to about 10 years old. Prices range from $350,000 up to a $550,000. You will find great floor plans, basements and some with walkout lots. Some finishes include hardwood floors, many with granite countertops and everything one would expect in exceptionally built homes.

Along with the fine executive style homes in Woodmont is also close to shopping and dining and has an active community with a swimming pool, tennis courts and open nature areas.
