Got up at 5:15 this morning. There was a slight breeze that had allowed me to hear the wind chimes off and on through the night. Got my cup of coffee and went outside and looked up in the sky. WOW! Even though I live in the mountains and we have many clear mornings, this morning the skies were exceptionally dark and the stars were exceptionally bright. So beautiful, a million, zillion stars over my head, twinkling their little hearts out. And then it was dawn, and the heavens were bright with the sunrise. Now down to reality. Doctors appointment, car due to be smogged so I can renew the license, need to get ready to show property on Thursday and a file to prepare for a new escrow. A full day that will proably get increasingly busy as the day goes on. I started the day right, if only for a few minutes, seeing and appreciating Gods glory spread out above me.

Have a wonderful day. Take time to see the stars, smell the roses, hug your kids, enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or whatever brings you peace and appreciation.

This is the place. We too are a little on the warm side, but not as hot as down in the valley or in the desert. Come on up and enjoy our mountain weather.

40 Votes, Yes 40 votes, that made the difference. Your 1 vote does matter. Tim Donnelly, a candidate for the 59th Assembly District in California beat out his closet competitor by only 40 votes. The run off will be in November. This campaign was won with little money, hard work, volunteers and supporters and lots of prayers.

So to all of you who went to the polls yesterday to cast your vote for your candidate, Congratulations, weather your candidate won or lost, you participated in an event that signifies what we as Americans stand for and fight for. Our right to vote.

Exercise your Right To Vote.

Do more than just talk about the way you feel. Go Vote. In our little community of Lake Arrowhead CAlifornia, we have two candidates running for the 59th Assembly Dstrict. I cast my vote at 8:00 this morning for my choice, Tim Donnelly. You may say, it's just one vote or what's the use. As evidenced by the Tea Party movement, our voices do count and do matter.

If you believe in your candidate, help them out. Donate to the campaign, make phone calls, put up signs, walk the area. Believe me, they appreciate the support and effort.

It's Spring. How do I know. 46 homes were on the agents tour this last Thursday. Of those 46 properties on the tour, 23 were Coldwell Banker listings. It was a beautiful day, sunny, bright, clear and most of all, warm.

There was great diversity on the tour, from million dollar lake fronts to a charming A frame listed at $177,200.00. We had the usual 3 or 4 bedroom homes with a few on the unique side thrown in. A beautiful Victorian reproduction was a stand out as the Victorian theme was carried from the outside to the inside. We have a outstanding variety of homes from cabins to mansions and everything in between.
