Smell The Coffee

Do you relish searching for your new home?

~ or ~ Does it seem a tad tiring?

Just imagine how much more fun your home hunting will be when you have your preferences in hand. The list of Must Haves, Definitely Don't Want, Nice To Have.

Wine tasting? Perfume testing? Between various tests, might you not smell coffee, have some cheese and crackers? Why not clear your pallet when you shop for that dream home!

Might it be a good idea to look at about five homes each day you go out to view?

Did you know that the hardest thing to do is to get an athlete to take rest days. The underlying anxiety of wanting to get become better trained, not wanting to miss any workouts, not lose the important competition, as wanting to know all about all of the real estate market.

Instead of an enjoyable experience where we relish all of the various colors, architectures, gardens, lovely designs, and all of the other new and wonderful things to experience while home hunting, we sometimes cram our heads so full, or worry about making the correct decision, that we miss the many delights which we might otherwise have indulged ourselves.

Begin to look at home hunting as an experience to be savored. Use your senses and enjoy yourself, explore as though a new adventure with many possibilities!

How is this possible? Begin looking at the process from the perspective of something to live through and experience as you go along. Try to defer judgment until you have enough data to make a decision in comfort.

Spend some time choosing a Realtor who you enjoy and who you trust. Someone who will allow you to enjoy the process, and ... where you feel the love.
