Sales in the 20007 zipcode were strong for Georgetown houses under $1.4 million. Sales for upper bracket properties remain sluggish.
Median price for August sales and contracts were in the $1.25 Million to $1.375 Million median range, while median price on available inventory is at $1.895 Million. It took about 3 months to sell the average Georgetown house.
Burleith houses continue to be prized by buyers, with two houses in contract, averaging $784,000, and 2 houses selling at an average of $789,900. It took about 6 weeks to sell the average Burleith house.
There are three houses in Burleith inventory with an median asking price of $849,000.

I am submitting this recommendation for Felicia Stidham, who has been my real estate agent for two house purchases and two house sales in Washington, D.C., and Arlington, Virginia from 2003 to 2007.
Felicia's services are characterized by attention to detail, extensive research and analysis, personal attention and commitment, and shrewd negotiation.
