I had received 5 quotes from other contractors in the area before I decided to go with FJ Painting. I had put my house on the market last year and nothing happened for 5 months! Before I put it up again this year I listened to my realtor who had said just a few minor changes would help me sell it...one of them being painting...I was taken with the professional attitude that Fred and his staff put into every aspect of the job from the very beginning! His design coordinator was extremely helpful in steering me away from painting the entire exterior (which really was not in my budget) and just going with painting the front trim and changing the door color. On the inside of the home she also steered me away from my initial color choices for the rooms which although nice for my style would not appeal to everyone and also cost less ( I wanted Navy Blue in the Living Room - she chose a khaki color - I wanted Red in the Bathroom - she chose a light aqua)! When the entire job was finished I put my house back on the market and I received multiple offers with my very first open house! I received exactly what I wanted and today that is unheard of! I really think that the painting is what sold my house this time! I hired FJ Painting to paint a rental property/condo of mine...a large3 bedroom/2 bath unit in Hingham. They did such a great job with this unit, enabling me to show it prospective tenants that a lease was signed with the first viewing. If you need wallpaper removed and painting at a REASONABLE Price...These people CANNOT be beat. We had 5 rooms done as well as our exterior and could not have been happier with the results! COURTEOUS customer service (their proposal and presentation was amazing and they always were updating me via email on the job progress...they gave various estimates to me and when I found out how much paint costs these days I opted for the labor and materials proposal)...Fred is a great worker ! The color coordination service provided by his assistant/project administrator is way beyond anything I had exp in the past...)
