These green monsters are not as scary as they look. I show properties everyday. Here in sunny South Florida there are many Foreclosed homes. Buyers are snapping up deals too good to be true. And if they have pools, it's an eyesore. Everyday, I'm asked, "Terri, how much is going to cost to repair that pool?" I have found out if a pool goes without maintenance for only one week it starts to lose it's sparkle.

So, if left for months, you can imagine. But if you're shopping for a bargain home, you may be turned off by these backyard swamps. You want that house, it's at the right price (a steal) but ewww, that pool! It's so gross.
No worries. I actually got to watch a pool company snap one of these cess holes back to a splashing good look. And the pool companies are used to the calls. They get them everyday. Inspectors are used to diving into the sea of blacknesses. (Now, you thought your job sucked.) Call me for a good pool company that will come out today and give you a free estimate on what it would take to shock your cement pond back to backyard beauty. The price will not shock you.

I really enjoy previewing homes for my buyers. Especially if the buyer is out of state. I can be the eyes for them when their time won't allow it. I know alot of agents say this is a waste of time but I think it's part of my job to know the inventory.

I know, right now, there is alot of foreclosures in the South Florida real estate market. Sometimes I can't get to everything, but I try. After spending one time out with a buyer, I get what their dislikes and 'must haves' are. To me this actually SAVES alot time. If a property has a spiral staircase and I know you hate them, I'm not dragging you there. If I have found out with my own eyes that there IS a property in Broward County that has that courtyard pool in just the right corner of the entrance that you were looking for, I'm bringing a pen with a contract.
Do you need an agent that will go above and beyond? Please call me to find that dream hut you have been scanning the Earth for. I'm glad to do it. I sell all over Broward County. I know where all the good deals are. And I have seen just about every single one of them.

I love this time of the year. You start seeing the flowers pop out. Yes, even in South Florida it's a good season. If I could I'd have a Bougainvillea Farm. I wish I knew how I could do that. I wouldn't even know where to start.
But I think they are just beautiful amongst other blooms.
This is a tip for all you sellers out there looking for that edge on getting that stalling buyer to make up their mind and pick your property. Put some blooms out. Kind of like . . . If You Plant Them, They Will Come.

a backyard. They have their own pool. They can paint a color they pick. They can even plant flowers!
