On December 12, 2009 hundreds of illuminated ships will dazzle the waterways of Fort Lauderdale. Spectators will claim every park bench, step and sidewalk ledge along the stretch of the New River. The parade starts at 6:30 pm.

The ships will light up the night sky as the crowd will admire all the detail and hardwork that is put into the decorating.

The Winterfest Boat Parade will start Downtown Fort Lauderdale on the New River and end at Lake Santa Barbara, Pompano Beach. For more information you can call 954-767-0686.

Coral Springs is celebrating this fantastic holiday by holding a Haunted House! Friday October 30th, 2009 5 to 8 pm at the Coral Springs Gymnasium, 2501 Coral Springs Drive. There will be bounce houses, slides and candy. $5 per child, $2 per adults. For more info: 954-345-2200.
