Doing whatever you can to put your house's best face forward is very important if you want to get close to your asking price or sell as quickly as possible. Short of spending a lot of money, there are several steps people can take to make their home show better: * Sweep the sidewalk, mow the lawn, prune the bushes, weed the garden and clean debris from the yard. * Clean the windows (both inside and out) and make sure the paint is not chipped or flaking. And speaking of paint, this won't affect homes in Ruby Hill area of Pleasanton but older areas of Pleasanton need to be aware of laws affecting your home if it was built before 1978. New federal law gives a buyer the right to request a lead inspection. If you think you might have some problems, do the inspection yourself beforehand and make any fixes you can. * Something as simple as be sure that the doorbell works. * Clean and spruce up all rooms, furnishings, floors, walls and ceilings. It's especially important that the bathroom and kitchen are spotless. * Organize closets. * Make sure the basic appliances and fixtures work. Get rid of leaky faucets and frayed cords. * Make sure the house smells good: from an apple pie, cookies baking or spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove. Hide the kitty litter. * Put vases of fresh flowers throughout the house. * Having pleasant background music playing in the background also will help set your stage. Gail

If you are a first time home buyer or looking to move up in this market, your ship has come in! For the first time in years, some home prices have come down to around the prices of 2004-2005. It depends on the city and the neighborhood, supply and demand, and a variety of other factors. No one knows for sure if we have hit the bottom, and no one knows for sure if mortgage interest rates will go up or go down. The great news in all of this is that buyers have a wide variety of houses to choose from, many of which would have been out of their price range just one or two years ago. So if you have spent the last two or three years living someplace you’d rather not be, now is your time. ~Gail My Site

The Law of Attraction says ... That which is like unto itself is drawn. So, if you stand in awareness that you don't have enough money, or love, or happiness in your life and you talk about and feel around it, and you perpetuate a continuing vibration of not having enough. Even though you are asking for more, and even though you may be offering action which should accommodate more--
more cannot come because it is different from the vibration that you are usually offering.
So... EXPECT money/love/happiness to come and it will.
The biggest tool for making money is appreciating what you already have. Looking for Love? Appreciate those you have in your life already.
Thoughts of “I don’t have enough money” or “why did I invest my bonus in the stock market this past year” are common thoughts.
It's pretty hard to make those thoughts go away. BUT spend time each day thinking about what you have. AND it's even okay to embellish what you have. It's called an "appreciation rage" and it is fun.
So, today, go around and say to yourself over and over again, all the positive attributes going on in your life.
The world is awash in money!! (Ted Turner said this. Did you know he gave 1 billion dollars to the United Nations?)
Go ahead….give it a try….
If you have been looking for a day to get outside, today is it. It is absolutely gorgeous outside today. I just love the sounds, smells and colors of spring. So.... if you can work - a stroll in the park - into your busy schedule today I guarantee it will make your day. I have yet to travel to Scotland or Ireland but I hear the colors of the hills and ridges this time of year, match. The deep green of the hills, the cherry trees and spring flowers in bloom simply cannot be passed up. Lets enjoy this break in the rains... and enjoy our surroundings.
