The Black Rock Homeowners' Association is publishing a monthly newsletter (which can be downloaded at www.blackrockonline.org ). BRHA has changed its schedule of meetings from monthly to quarterly and will use the monthly newsletter to keep members up-to-date between meetings. They are also promoting a "Stimulus Package" to encourage current members to ask new members to join. Both old and new members will get 50% off of their membership dues. See letter from BRHA Board below:
Dear BRHA Members & Neighbors:
For those of you who attended our meeting last week we hope you found the agenda informative. In an effort to continue to keep you informed we will be emailing a monthly newsletter highlighting important development and land use projects in Black Rock. Please click here to read the BRHA November 09' Newsletter---our first issue!
For 2010 we are preparing a more responsive web-site presence, a second edition of the BRHA brochure and four focused membership meetings in Jan, April, Sept and Dec. These meetings will be held the first Wednesday of those months at the Black Rock Library. We will continue to monitor and report on important issues like municipal finances/taxes, Neighborhood Revitalization Zone, the new train station and land use/development issues.
We are in the process of mailing an annual reminder to our members for their 2009 BRHA dues. Membership fees remain at $50 per household and $30 for seniors. However, in recognition of the difficult financial times we also developed a Black Rock Stimulus Plan. If you recruit a new member AND also renew your current membership, you and your new recruit cut your membership by 50%! The membership form is also available on www.blackrockonline.org
Thank you for your continued support.
