We are looking for teams and individuals to TAKE THE PLUNGE and help support Burroughs' programs. Interested in being one of the 2010 plungers? Please email Laura@BurroughsCC.org for more information or sign up now at www.firstgiving.com/burroughs .

Dial 203 For Local Numbers

After November 14, 2009 you must dial the area code and phone number for local calls (203 + 7 digit phone number). The reason for this is that the Connecticut DPUC has added a new area code. If you forget to use the new 10-digit dialing procedure, your call will not be completed and a recording will tell you that your call cannot be completed as dialed and to hang up and dial again.

To prepare for the 11/14/09 change, you may want to check the following devices and update them with the full ten-digit telephone number:

Fax machines

Speed dialers

Contact lists/address books

Alarm/security systems

Call forwarding settings
