Los Gatos house prices are currently about 16% below the peak in 2006. They didn't drop as far as less affluent areas (50-60% in some cases) and according to the Mercury News this morning this is typical across the Bay Area with some cities such as Palo Alto already heading back to pre-crash pricing and market activity.
