REO Broker. Our team is growing and helping many people find exactly what they need. With the reduced REO inventory, we made the necessary changes this year to keep up with buyers and short sales.
In the past 2 years, since our small office merged with Connect Realty, I have seen some amazing changes, in the industry, my personal business and myself as a person, Realtor and leader. When I joined Connect I had just started in the REO business. I was doing several hundred BPO's a year, and just taking my first few listings. By mid 2008, things were in full swing with the REO business, and I was carrying more listings then I ever imagined. By the end fo 2008, I had hired a full time staff of buyers agents and other staff personnel. As things slowed in early 2009, we changed gears yet again. Connect was growing and bringing on new technology, that made it very easy to see why they were on their way to greatness. My staff of agents continued to grow as Connect offered each agent more and more int he way of splits, technology and all over support. As of mid 2009, we had dwindled to less REO business than when I started, so we as a team eagerly went after other business including buyers, and short sales. We have amassed over 50 agents on my personal team with over 200 in the Sacramento area and over 400 total in California. The team is doing well, and our very first office opened in Citrus Heights in September of 2009. Connect is growing, the team I started 18 months ago is growing and the demands on me are growing. I am now not just a producer, I am a leader to many, helping them with their day to day activities as well as helping certain individuals to grow their teams and become leaders. Times are changing, and so are the ways we do business. If you have ever thought of looking at something that will change your life, I would say Real Estate is it, and Connect has the tools to help you get their.
Our team specializes in REO properties and short sales. I successfully closed over 100 transactions in 2008 with the help of my team. We believe that the community will thrive if everyone helps one another. We are not in competition with one another, we are a community of people that help one another to survive and flourish in this down market. Our team is ever expanding and is always looking for new team members. If you are interested in hearing what we have to offer, and see what a great environment that is fostered with our team concept, call me and I will share with you the success of the team. This letter is my personal recommendation for Gary Meek. I have had the pleasure of knowing Gary Meek as a personal friend, colleague, and as my real estate agent for the last 6 years. He is always upbeat and positive in every aspect of his life and work.
Besides being a great family man and friend Gary is a very hard working individual. I have never known him to give up on anything that he has put his mind too. There have been many times I have just been in awe of his dedication and persistence. An example of this is when the real estate market began it decline. I saw most real estate agents just putting their head down and just basking in the doom and gloom of the market but not Gary. He saw the market as an opportunity to grow and learn, and always kept a smile on his face while he revolutionized the REO market in the Sacramento area. Gary worked from sun up to well after sun down finishing multiple BPOs every single day. I would help him from time to time while he was acquiring multiple listings and assignments and I remember thinking, how does he just keeping working at this relentless pace. The next year Gary was honored as one of the top agents in the Sacramento Area.
Gary is also a Great leader. During the time of the mortgage melt down as it has been called Gary took time to learn all the new processes of the real estate market. The market was beginning to change just before I began a new career. I will never forget how much Gary learned during this period of time. He taught himself so much but what set Gary apart from others is that he took the time and shared all the new information that he learned with the rest of the Real Estate team. He became a leader among men. If it wasn't for Gary many agents would never have had a chance to be successful. I saw began to form teams of agents and it was so incredible to watch him grow to new heights in the real estate market and revolutionize it.
In 2009 I had started a new career and was in a position to buy a home of my own. I have worked with well over 25 real estate agents during my time as an agent but there was only one person that I even considered to help me look for my home, and that guy was Gary. His work ethics and relentless determination is what made my decision so easy. He had multiple listing to show my wife and I only a day after asking for his help, and I know he had so much other work that he could be doing but he took out time for my wife and I. Gary spent many evenings away from his family to show my wife and I new listings that had just come on the market. I can't thank Gary enough for helping my wife and I find our Home.
I can't think of a greater person to recommend for employment than Gary Meek. I highly recommend Gary for employment and guarantee he would be the greatest asset to any organization.
Sincerely,
Neil Scicluna
