Were you also aware that you could estimate taxes? This would be extremely helpful for those trying to stay on a tight budget. Knowing what taxes will be, will give you an idea of what to expect come tax time, or what you will need to escrow (along with insurance) in your mortgage. Polk County is in the top 20 of the fastest growing counties in Florida, according to county population figures released by the U.S. Census Bureau. The annual estimates indicate that on July 1, Polk County had 574,746 residents, an increase of 90,822 residents since 2000. Based on its population increase since the 2000 census, Polk was the 19th-fastest-growing county among Florida's 67 counties. From 2006 to 2007, the Census Bureau estimated that the population of Polk County grew by 16,723, a modest increase of 3 percent. Our neighbor, Osceola County, is the second-fastest-growing county in Florida and the 16th fastest growing county in the nation. I have been a resident of Lakeland since childhood, & I am still very proud to call this quaint town, "home." Originally born in Bangkok, Thailand, my family & I immigrated to the United States in 1978. I graduated Lake Gibson High School in 1992. Go Braves!
Growing up an avid sports fan, I enjoy basketball, tennis & especially football. You'll find me watching the Miami Dolphins game every weekend, willing them to a hopeful victory & with any luck, an eventual Super Bowl Championship.
I went on to complete my studies at the University of South Florida in Tampa, where I resided for a short time, earning a BS in Business Administration - Finance. Go Bulls! Ultimately finding my way back home to Lakeland, I now enjoy an exciting career in real estate where I can help friends with their real estate needs & meet new people everyday.
