We watch a lot of movies in my household and I was thinking about favorites. So....................here's our list.

Smile and the world smiles with you. More so recently I have been lucky enough to come around some very beautiful people who have empowered me to take my happiness seriously (hmm...). They make fun a priority. Whether for our kids, spouses, parents, etc we are so flexible sometimes we bend to the point of breaking. In juggling all that we do, fun is down to reminiscing on facebook.

Despite the times, we are in one of the better economies. The real estate market is no walk in the park these days but if we stick together we'll make it okay. Today I have two appointments. I almost feel like I work for a living again. There is plenty of good in our lives. We simply have this one life to live and be young and happy. So no matter the situation prioritize your happiness.

In the spirit of making fun a priority, here's a list I jotted down for myself.

Frisco -Stonebriar Mall - Ice at Stonebriar (Ice Skating on the 104F days is very inviting. Stay cool and have a blast). We're also avid movie goers and patrons of Barnes & Noble (its hard to give up those comfy couches). The Cheesecake Factory makes my kiddos eyes light up and its hard to say no when they offer free valet.

The Colony - Hawaiin Falls Water Park (Spent the day with my daughter there and its a blast).

Frisco - Horse Park http://www.friscohorsepark.org/ They have summer camps which we've done. Also trail rides, pony rides, hay rides etc.

Dallas - Pocket Sandwhich Theater http://www.pocketsandwich.com/ Really fun evening with the kids. Throw popcorn, boo and cheer at the actors, laugh all evening and leave happy.
