I have never seen this kind of style in Ebelsbach ( Bayern ) and was exited to post this home on Active Rain . This Summer I was in Germany to visit my Family and driving around in the Neiborhood , i have seen this Block House . I remember this lot from my childhood , Grass and lots of Rock where there .

When I think 30 or more years back , all I believed of a pastor "they are preachers only" . Willi Geßner , was as well an Architect , Building Churches and one Kindergarten in Ebelsbach under his supervision.
The Catholic Pastor Willi Gessner my Uncle, born in Bayern near Bad Kissingen in Haard was responsible for 4 Different Churches during his pastoral life . In Ebelsbach he had extended the base church to a seating capacity up to 500 people and build a Kindergarten. After 18 years he got moved to Aschaffenburg in Hessen . An renovation an entire church that had mayor construction issues in the past. The church community was very close to each other and very happy for the succsess of the strong vision and dedication Pastor Willi and his architectural talent. For 8 years , Willi Geßner master his talent and upkeep of a Church in Limbach . Maria Limbach , a Chruch build by Balthasar Neuman in 1756 .
My Family Therese and Anton Thoma have helped him during his most difficult time from April to December 2008 in his life.
After being a pastor for over 50 years of his life , Willi passed the way due to Cancer in Bad Kissingen, his birth town in Franken-Germany . His Popularity during his burial brought many many visitors to his home town in Haard.
Bad Kissingen/Aschaffenburg/Ebelsbach/Limbach/Nüdlingen (POW) Pfarrer i. R. Willi Geßner, von 1994 bis 2003 Pfarrer von Limbach, ist am Montag, 22. Dezember, im Alter von 79 Jahren in Bad Kissingen gestorben. Das Requiem für den Verstorbenen wird am Samstag, 27. Dezember, um 10 Uhr in Geßners Heimatort Nüdlingen-Haard gefeiert. Die Beisetzung schließt sich an. Der 1929 in Haard im Landkreis Bad Kissingen geborene Priester wurde am 19. Juli 1953 in Würzburg von Bischof Julius Döpfner zum Priester geweiht. Seine Kaplansjahre führten Geßner nach Großheubach, Mellrichstadt und Aschaffenburg-Sankt Michael. 1960 wurde er Pfarrer von Ebelsbach. Dort erweitere er die Kirche und ließ den Kindergarten bauen. 1969 wurde er zudem Dekan des Dekanats Eltmann, von 1975 bis 1978 war er Dekan des Dekanats Ebern. Bei seinem Weggang aus Ebelsbach 1978 erhielt Geßner die Ehrenbürgerwürde. Danach übernahm er die Pfarrei Aschaffenburg-Sankt Gertrud. In der noch relativ jungen Gemeinde rief er zahlreiche kirchliche Vereinigungen ins Leben. Unter Geßners Regie wurde der Kindergarten gebaut. Von 1987 bis 1994 war er außerdem Caritaspfarrer des Dekanats Aschaffenburg-Stadt. 1994 wechselte der Priester nach Limbach, wo er bis September 2003 wirkte. Geßner war in der Schönstattbewegung aktiv und gehörte dort dem Priesterbund an. Ziel all seines Wirkens war nach eigenem Bekunden: An der Hand Mariens zu Christus und zum Vater. Seinen Ruhestand verbrachte er in Bad Kissingen.

Years ago , I was in Makawao during Christmas and I have to tell you it was nice !
This last saturday , I was invited to come to help out , being part of the Makawao Town's Christmas Celebration on December 6, 2008 .
Realtor (B) Debbie Davis hosted the Free event at her office .
Equity One Realestate Company was giving free Home Value Estimates for Everyone . Bonny Newman, Realtor at Equity One was scroling with Friends along Makawao Avenue and Singing Christmas Songs.
As all of us know , Hawaii has lots of Sunshine and temperatures up to 80F. during the day . Because of this ,Maui has a different kind of feel to get in the Christmas Mood . However , it was as nice as in Germany where Christmas is praised on high .
