Once I took a class at Bikram Yoga in Kahului that includet both a 9 year old girl and a 65 year old man. Yoga is noncompetitive in nature. You work and progress at speed of your own comfort level.
Although yoga is a physical in nature , its benefits of sweat , heat are both physical and emotional . On the physical side , yoga strengthens the muscles and the spine , creating flexibility and ease of motion . On the emotional side , yoga is tremedous stress reducer. It balances the body -mind-spirit connection .
Especially after work ,,,,, it seem to me when I go to yoga ,,, all the stress and numbers are disapearing and I have the mood of pure rest . I tried in the past to do it on my own but yoga was the best for me .
