Seems like the cleanup at the Hallmark store is going faster each day since the customer that was coming to the store to purchase a card accidently drove through the store. We were considering adding coffee to the things that are sold in the store and haveing a drive through. After a very long consideration (abut haf a second) we decided that we would not do that.
SOUTH WALL OF PEAKS HALLMARK

Just thought I'd keep you abreast of what was happening at the Hallmark store since the drive through. I looks like they are going to take everything completely out of the store, put in new carpet, and then put the fixtures back and new merchandise.

We would like to say thank you to everyone that is working in their hazmat suits to clean up the store.

MOTHERS DAY CARDS AT PEAKS HALLMARK
It was a pretty exciting day at the Hallmark story (managed, operated and owned by my beautiful bride) when one of the customers that came to buy a card had a drive through. The good news is that no one was injured.

You never know when you go to work what kind of day you are going to have when you go to work. One of the Hallmark customers was coming to purchase a card. You never know when you are going shopping what kind of day you are going to have. While parking in front of the store she suddenly found herself insid the store. The good news is that no one was injured.
I think this is going to be one of those years that we go from Winter to Summer and Spring is just going to be a fleeting moment. We just keep having trouble getting Spring to show itself with the exception of a few fleeting moments.
I came back from Las Vegas on Thursday where it was 79 degrees and woke up so snow flurries on Friday morning. We had low lying clouds and cold all day today.

I thought we all deserved a little bit of spring even if it is just a picture but it is a picture of what is to come. I love living in Estes Park as much as some people enjoy visiting thier favorite vacation spot. You can see your tax dollars at work as the city plants thousands of flowers every year make our community inviting and special for both those that are fortunate enough live here and those that just have Estes as thier favorite place to visit.

I only have one favorite place in Las Vegas. It is the only place that I can't smell cigarette smoke. The flower garden at the Bellagio. Typically the flower arrangements are more like artowrk than they are just flowers. This example shows ants, snails, lady bugs and frogs all made from flwoers. It makes you feel like the Rose Parade in Pasidina, California.

You can see how much detail is in each of the animals. These pictures were actually taken with my iphone as I didn't happen to have my camera with me at the time. It's techonolgy wonderful.
Enjoy the pictures, the smell and have a great week.

Vegas is pretty much all hustle. I believe that is why they built the place, hustle, bustle, and stuff to do always! I had a friend book me into the Red Rock Resort and Casino for my business trip to Vegas. I probably wouldn't have chosen to stay here myself not being from Vegas but it's nice and quiet.

During the day the pools are surrounded by sun worshipers and people relaxing. The views from the rooms at the resort live up to the name.

Definitely a different view of Las Vegas.
Have a great weekend - Gerald
