Cowboy's Guide To Life

• Lettin' the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin' it back in.
• The best sermons are lived, not preached.
• Keep skunks and politicians and lawyers at a distance.
• It don't take a very big person to carry a grudge.
• If it don't seem like it's worth the effort, it probably ain't.

City of Covington's Last Citizen Forum of the Year!

The City of Covington will be holding their last informal gathering of the year and all residents are encouraged to attend. It will be held Wednesday, October 14th from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at the City Council Chambers at City Hall.

This is an opportunity to meet new residents, ask questions of the City staff, pick up some new information and enjoy some light snacks.

You will have the opportunity to hear the State of the City Address from City Manager Derek Matheson. He will address how the economy has factored in on City finances and highlight successes over the past year as well as discuss what's to come in 2010. They will also provide information about Emergency Preparedness and the upcoming valley flooding.
