Naples is well known for its fine collection of restaurants and we have our share of fun pubs such as
McCabes Irish Pub a very fun authentic Irish pub on 5th Avenue
The Village Pub at Venetian Villiage
The Old Naples Pub on Third Street
The Island Pub at Park Shore Resort
We now have an authentic British pub in the new Mercado located at the corner of Vanderbilt Beach Rd. and US41 - Tamiami Trail N. If you are looking for a bit of British flare, this is the place. The staff is playful and they are all dressed in kilts.
The pub's centerpiece is a stunning, handcrafted bar from which guests can sample a wide range of English, Scottish, and Irish draught; cask conditioned beers and domestics. "Optic Pourers", inverted pouring systems that originated in Europe, take center stage behind the bar.
They offer a generous Happy Hour from 3-7pm. Check it out! I've been twice already and love it...

Valentines Day on Naples' Fifth Avenue took on a whole lot of love from the thousands who attended the Naples Exotic Car Show. Over 300 cars were on display including loads and loads of Farreri's. It was a perfect day in Paradise with blue skies, 78 degree weather and a soft breeze from the Gulf of Mexico...oh, why do I live here! Behind Fifth Avenue, there was also an art show so something for everyone. Check out some of the pictures I took.

Christmas in Naples Florida
The Annual Grey Oaks Golf Cart Parade
Every year the residents and guest of Grey Oaks Country Club hosts a decorated golf cart parade around the 3.5 mile Grey Oaks Boulevard. Decorated carts meet at the club for pre-parade jitters (oh, there is competition). The kids mingle with each other, elves and Santa Clause who arrives on a fire truck...the parents soothe their nerves at the bar! It's a great time for all and the finale is back at the club where everyone celebrates with a festive cookout complete with a marshmallow and s'more roast!
