The service will not be supported over EDGE or 3G except for the IM chat and checking to see who is on line.This app will allow you to many things the desktop verison is able to do such as, placing and receiving calls, use your address book, conference call participation, and IM chat and more. There are still a few things missing from the new Skype app like, file transfer, check voice mail, and call waiting.
