I've been a member of Toastmasters - a public speaking club and leadership club for over a decade. There are community clubs around the country. If you want to check for a local club near you - check the website.
My club is community based - we meet at a local Community College. We have people from almost every industry and walk-of-life. We have members from all over the world that share their experiences. The goal of Toastmasters is to provide a safe, welcoming environment to improve your public speaking skills.
I joined to work on my presentation skills; but found that joining helped me in other ways as well. I can make conversation and sustain it in any given situation. I have solid, impactful answers when called upon in business and stronger confidence in myself. Immediate constructive feedback is given by fellow members with areas of "greatness" and areas for improvement. The feedback is the key! We're all a part of TM to learn and get better.
Slowing down, pacing myself, eliminating filler words are all some of the areas I needed to improve. A fellow Realtor and I were talking last week. She is selling her home and moving to another part of the state. She told me she will really miss the club. It made me realize Toastmasters doesn't need to be a secret; especially when it can benefit anyone! The price is right too! Dues vary but generally $30-$35 for the year!

My favorite quote from my client this past year was after they met me - "Game over, your hired!". They had interviewed 5 other agent/teams and finally found the perfect fit. Why? The genuine passion and enthusiasm came through along with the confidence that I would deliver - and I did. 13 offers and 200K over asking in this market!
My road to real estate began with a degree in Communication from the University of Washington. A pharmaceutical sales manager position with Johnson & Johnson brought me to the Bay Area where I enjoyed living in San Francisco. Later I transitioned to a Division Management position with PowerBar Inc. based in Berkeley, CA which allowed her to combine her love of sports and sales in cross-promotions and marketing events. Real Estate was a natural progression from consumer sales.
Resident of the Bay Area since 1992; and Danville Residential Specialist since 2004, my area of focus is single family homes with equal time devoted to sellers and buyers. My offices are in Danville and Blackhawk and I serve the surrounding areas of Diablo, San Ramon, Alamo, Walnut Creek and Pleasanton. I work with investor clients in this area as well as those that might want to invest in Arizona. I have established agent referral network in Tucson, Scottsdale and Phoenix and own investment property in Scottsdale, AZ.
I'm a ABR, Acrredited Buyer's Agent and member of Toastmasters International, A Leadership and Public Speaking club. As a Toastmaster; I enjoy the ability to present speeches on various topics and receive feedback from my fellow Toastmasters.
Family - I've been married for almost 12 years and raising two daughters. We've enjoyed trying to keep up with them! We've been a part of Mustang Soccer for 4 years and will be heading into my 3rd year in coaching. I enjoy San Ramon womens league indoor soccer and co-ed softball through the town of Danville. We are avid sports fans - both my husband and 1 attend local college football and basketball (Pac 10) games. We solidified our dating relationship at a Giants Game and the rest is history! We just attempted a family ski - learn to ski -remember we can ski vacation. I love that we're only a short drive to the mountains.

We were so impressed with Gina and her consistent follow up. She had previewed and had knowledge of so many homes on the market that when we met her - she identified the perfect house for her. Gina's communication was stellar. There was not a day that went by that she did not update us or give us a status report on our home.
