A while back I posted a poem that I had ran across in a church bulletin called ' Do It Anyway', I believe to be written by Mother Teresa. I found it at a very challenging time in my life and it gave me much inspiration. With the challenges in the economic market it seems that people (including myself) have been more on edge, having more disagreements in their personal and professional lives. It seems like there is more doom and gloom in the air than ever before. It is hard to even watch the news. I like to call it The Sky is Falling Syndrome. I recently found myself in a conflict with another person and gave in to the negativity. This morning I had to remember that those who are the hardest to love are hurting the most. So I wanted to re-post this poem because I feel that we all could use a little reminder from time to time that no matter how ugly another can be we need to love them anyway! In this time of economic torumoil I think we all need to take a step back a think of the things that really matter. I truly beleive the more positive energy we give the more blessings we get back.

The new stimulus has now passed and as many of you know if you are a first-time home buyer you can receive up to a $8000 tax credit. This is exciting news for the first-time home buyer.

I am currently working with a buyer who will be a lucky recipient of this $8000 tax credit. This new tax credit is NEW and I have noticed that the interpretation of when the home buyer can actually have the funds has been extremely mixed. My client was told by one mortgage professional that he could get the money prior to closing and another Mortgage professional said the total opposite. The 2009 Chili Fest is gearing up for April 3&4th 2009 in Snook Texas.
