I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price of gas today in Upstate, South Carolina. The price of gas was $2.999 per gallon on one corner and $2.959 per gallon on the other corner. Was I seeing things? Was that first number actually a "2" not a "3"? I wasn't the only one questioning the signs, it seemed liked everyone was slowing down to look at the signs. It was almost a traffic hazard. There were 20 to 30 cars deep waiting in line for the "cheaper" gas. It was encouraging sign. I hope the lower prices will continue. it will help lift everybody spirits.

In my last blog, I talked about moving to my new team and so; I wanted to dedicate this blog to my previous company, Keller Williams Realty Spartanburg. KW Spartanburg will always hold a special place in my heart. Keller Williams has so many values that are precious to me which made my decision to leave a sad and difficult decision. I believe my foundation as a Realtor is stronger because of the support and training from KW and the encouragement from my treasured KW friends. My decision to change companies and to join a team as a Buyers Agent instead of working as individual agent was strictly a business decision that I made for my family as well as my career. There are so many special people that work at KW Spartanburg that I will miss dearly. Thanks to all of you and please keep in touch.

Well, the Fall Season is officially here. You can feel the change in the air. The morning air is crisp and cool and the afternoons are still warm, but not so humid. It is a great time of year to enjoy being outside. The leaves will soon be showing off their beautiful display of colors. It is an awesome sight in the South. Then there is a downside, the leaves will start falling and it will be time for the chore of raking leaves. With the change of a season brings a sense of newness, change and hope, I am looking forward to this season to see what it may bring. I am hoping for the best for all of us.

It is Friday Night Lights again and it is show time for the Byrnes High School Rebels. Lincoln High School from Tallahassee, Florida will play Byrnes High School tonight at 7:30 pm in Duncan, South Carolina. It will be quite a showdown. The Rebel Empire is looking forward to this challenge. Are there any Realtors from the Tallahassee area coming to the game or do you have any players or coaches on the team?

I can't believe it. Rain is falling in the Upstate of South Carolina. It has been raining in our area since last night. It has been mostly a steady rain with a few rounds of heavy showers. Everywhere that I have been today, everyone is bragging about the rain. Wow, it is a great day!! It makes you want to go outside and play in the rain.
Thankful in the Upstate
